This is Gordie. He’s a good boy. This is his story.

“He was found wandering in the desert by Fur Dixon and John Gonquin Nikolai (thank you guys!!!). No collar, not chipped and they tried to locate the owners. Most likely he was abandoned and left to fend for himself. The great news is he is a lovebug and got a clean bill of health from the vet! The vet thinks he’s about 3 years old. Right now he has some food issues and separation anxiety, but I think that’s par for the course when you’re abandoned in a desert. Once he is neutered he will be in training classes and we have high hopes that he will get along with other dogs. He loves people and we love him already. “

Gordie found his forever home and people in October 2023. When I met him in April 2024, he still had separation anxiety but was thriving. I think his age was bumped down a year because, omigod, such a puppy.

Early Wednesday morning, Gordie had to flee his forever home. The forever home is gone but he’s safe with his forever people.

Please make a donation to help Gordie, Kim and Justin ( @kgmusicpress and @smittycus ).

To all my foodie friends with babies and toddlers, or friends who have friends with babies and toddles: please take a look at @theglobowl - another dear friend @ericabethe and mother of two, has created this thoughtful and healthy line of baby food and she needs support with her #allornothing Kickstarter. It’s an incredible project years in the making and it is so close to fruition. She is over halfway to her goal but only 5 days remain. Any amount helps and there are REWARDS!! 🥄

Vote for Democracy!
Let’s exercise our right so we don’t loose it!!
It is easy to believe that our vote doesn’t count because some groups tell us that. But each vote does count and is important and does make a difference…don’t let others diminish your impact. 💪🏼 #vote #itsourright #itmatters #wethepeople #democracy #itsimportant #votefordemocracy taken in Brooklyn, New York by @danieladrinkswine

Every election matters. Use your right to vote or it may not be there in the future.
@nygov @wnyc @ny1 We need more information on the judges and the delegates to the Judicial Convention that we are asked to elect. Please offer more coverage!
