A lot of people have been asking why I decided to get a hair transplant… so here’s my truth.

Last year, my hair started receding fast. I played it off with different hairstyles or a hat, but deep down it messed with my confidence. And I realized something — everyone has an insecurity. Some are visible, some aren’t. This just happened to be mine.

So I chose myself.

I flew to Istanbul, Turkey and had the most unreal experience with @now.hairtime From the second I landed, everything was taken care of. The whole process was smooth, professional, and honestly life-changing. If you’re struggling with your hairline and debating it — I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Today marks one month since the procedure, and while the real results are still coming, this journey already feels bigger than just hair. It’s about confidence. It’s about growth. It’s about doing something for YOU, even when nobody else understands.

A year ago today, my world changed with a phone call I never wanted to answer. I was out, on my way to see you, ready to spend the day together like we always did. But instead of waiting for me, you had already gone somewhere better—to be with Grandad and Phillip.

This year has been strange and heavy in ways I didn’t expect. I don’t think I’ve really grieved you yet. My mind and my heart still won’t accept that you’re gone, like if I let myself believe it, it’ll hurt too much. So I carry you quietly instead.

I miss you every single day. I miss your laughter, your warmth, the way love seemed to live so naturally in you. You were the glue that held this family together, and everything feels a little looser without you here. What I wouldn’t give to sit beside you again, just talking, just being with you—and then popping out to get you a Warrens pasty like nothing had changed.

Maybe one day my body will catch up with the truth my head already knows. Maybe one day it won’t feel quite so hard to breathe around your absence. Until then, I hope I’m making you proud. I hope you can see me.

One year without you, and it feels like a lifetime. I miss you more than words could ever say.
