The Family Movie of 2021
‘The Boss Baby: Family Business’

NBCUniversal

When The Boss Baby arrived on the scene in the spring of 2017, its delivery effectively divided critics and audiences into two distinct groups: those who felt the familiar CG-animated romp got a sizable boost from its mischievous, Looney Tunes-inspired visual sense and those who contended it wasn’t enough to compensate for peripatetic plotting.

Four years later, the arrival of The Boss Baby: Family Business presents a dispiriting example of arrested development, with stunted premise and character growth that amount to more (or less) of the same, depending on where one weighed in the first time around. taken in Dreamworks by @danielandxabierdesign

Unter den Linden, September 2025. A walk through Berlin's architectural archives. The Classicist discipline of these 1880s facades speaks volumes. Notice the proportion, the symmetry—a deliberate embrace of Greco-Roman ideals enduring over a century of change. This street is a masterclass in monumental urban design. #BerlinArchitecture #Classicism #UnterDenLinden #1880s #architecture #classicism #classicarchitecture, #Classicism #classicist_org #urbanarchitecture taken in Unter den Linden by @danielandxabierdesign

This reel, my dear, is more than just a showcase of exquisite furniture. It is a feeling, an anticipation, a visual symphony of the season we both hold dear. It is a whispered promise of long, sun-drenched days of salty air and the carefree spirit that summer unfailingly brings. It is, in essence, a striped embrace of the beautiful months to come.

With heartfelt warmth,
xabier

👁️"Ah, the living room. A stage set for fleeting grandeur, where porcelain whispers tales of Sicilian Baroque and the glint of gold echoes the sun-drenched courtyards of a bygone era. Here, the Portuguese diamond-cut glassware, like captured starlight, awaits the touch of revelers, each facet a tiny, shimmering universe. Observe the buffet, a still life against the literary spine of the bookcase, a feast for both the stomach and the soul. And there, the octagonal table, a geometric heart, where plates gather like constellations around a fire's warm glow.

This room is a collection of moments, a series of intimate theatres. One corner, a Dutch blue reverie, a coffee and contemplation space, where porcelain blooms in cool hues, a quiet counterpoint to the golden exuberance elsewhere. Each space is a narrative, a pause in the grand narrative of existence.

We gather here, amidst these carefully curated objects, these silent witnesses to our fleeting passage, to celebrate, to converse, to simply be. For in these moments, amidst the beauty we've crafted, we find a fleeting echo of the eternal. It's a theatre, a feast, a conversation with the very fabric of memory.

And to you, for being part of this vision, for seeing the poetry in the porcelain and the stories in the glass, I owe a debt, a profound thank you. I believe, 'The past is not dead, it is not even past.' And here, in this room, we summon it, we dine with it, we dance with it. Thank you."#living #dinnerware #buffet #atmosphere #reception #hospitality #host #spring #china #sicily by @danielandxabierdesign

#soundtrack by @lstreeofficial, Apex: The zenith, or the utmost pinnacle, where an entity or phenomenon reaches its supreme elevation or ultimate degree. It signifies the most exalted point in a hierarchy, trajectory, or progression, embodying the culmination of power, intensity, or refinement.

In nature, an apex is the sovereign peak, where mastery and dominance reside, untouched by rivals. In life and achievement, it is the crowning moment, the apogee of success, beyond which nothing higher may ascend. by @danielandxabierdesign
