Full details are finally out for my 20 Hour DJ Set Marathon, happening on 23 October, in aid of @richmondfmalta, with the aim of raising awareness and support around mental health. I’ve wanted to do something like this for a long time, and I’m incredibly happy to finally make it happen. A massive thank you to everyone who has supported the idea, shared it, offered their help or simply reached out with kind words so far. ❤️ Mental health is something that affects so many of us, and as we head into November, when even more attention is placed on mental health conversations, I want this event to be another reminder that you are not alone. That message is especially important within the music scene. Behind the parties, late nights, performances and energy, there are real people dealing with pressures and struggles that aren’t always visible. If this marathon can encourage even one person to speak up, reach out, or realise that asking for help is okay, then it will have achieved something meaningful. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time, and I’ve finally found the courage to act on it. Mental health issues are growing, and I feel they are becoming especially visible within our scene. Behind the music, the parties, the smiles and the nightlife, there are a lot of people struggling silently. So I wanted to do something different. This November, I’m taking on a 20-HOUR DJ SET MARATHON to help raise awareness for mental health. 8AM – 4AM. 20 hours. One continuous journey. Anyone who knows me well knows just how challenging this will be for me. I live with huge ADHD, and standing in one place for more than a few minutes can already be a struggle for me; let alone doing it for 20 hours straight. But that’s exactly why I want to do it. I want to challenge myself, push myself out of my comfort zone and use the one thing I love most; music -to create awareness around something that affects so many of us. The marathon will take place at a familiar club near you, and everyone is invited to come down and be part of it. But if you can’t make it, don’t worry; the entire marathon will also be streamed LIVE worldwide. This isn’t just about me standing behind the decks for 20 hours. It’s about bringing people together, starting conversations, showing support and reminding anyone who might be struggling that you are not alone.
