Lord, I thank You for this family and for the step of faith we are taking today.
Fill us with Your Spirit, guide us in Your truth, and surround our home with Your love.
Bless us as we walk with You, now and always.

Today begins a new journey, a new challenge, and a new chapter in my life. I’ve been hired as the General Manager at @clubmx effective today! Thank you to Brandon Haas and his A+ crew for giving me a chance to do something big. I won’t let you down.

Not sure where to start with Jesus?

Daniel’s answer this week is simple:

Start with gratitude.

For him, the shift happened when he stopped focusing on everything he didn’t have and started thanking God for what He had already given him.

Family.
Friends.
Opportunities.
Gifts.
Life.

That gratitude opened the door to prayer, and from there, the relationship started to grow.

There may not be one perfect way to begin, but this is where Daniel started:

Thank You, God.

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.”

What if your prayer life needs less... not more?

Daniel realized most of his prayers were asking God to add something.

More wisdom.
More clarity.
More direction.

But what about the things we need Him to remove?

The baggage.
The habits.
The sin.
The things we keep carrying even though we know they need to go.

This week, try praying differently:

“God, show me what I need to let go of. Help me remove what I can’t shake on my own.”

Sometimes growth isn’t about adding more.

Sometimes it’s about finally letting go.

“Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.”
Hebrews 12:1

Change is hard.

Habits get comfortable. Patterns become normal. And sometimes we start believing, “That’s just who I am.”

But Jesus changes people.

Paul went from persecuting Christians to giving his life to spread the Gospel. That kind of transformation is what happens when Jesus gets ahold of a life.

So whatever you’re trying to leave behind, don’t underestimate what God can do in you.

“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

Sometimes you don’t need a new plan.

You just need to press reset.

Daniel got real this week. Prayer felt distant. Reading the Bible had turned into checking a box. He wasn’t really connected.

So he made a decision:

Go all the way back in.

Pray. Open the Word. Reconnect with Jesus. Make the effort.

Three weeks later, Daniel said it feels like he “rejetted the carburetor.” 😂

No guilt. No pretending. If you’ve drifted, press the reset button and go back in.

“Come near to God and He will come near to you.”
James 4:8
