The Ringling Museum was such a fun and engaging experience! I loved learning about the incredible impact the circus had on both rural and urban America. Before zoos became common, the circus brought exotic animals from around the world to communities. It also introduced audiences to world-class athleticism, breathtaking creativity, and cultures they might never have experienced otherwise. I’m happy and blessed to share that I’ve found a place where I can continue my professional growth.

Back in December, I accepted a position as a Volunteer Services Coordinator at a local hospital, where I have the opportunity to work with college students who are pursuing careers in healthcare. In this role, I help connect students to meaningful volunteer experiences while also supporting their professional development as they prepare for graduate and professional programs.

What makes this role especially meaningful is that it brings together so many aspects of my previous experience—program management, coordination, education, mentorship, first-generation students, and student development—all into one position.

I’ve had the privilege of building a program from the ground up, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see it come to life. Being able to support and mentor future healthcare professionals has reminded me of my own personal journey and why this work matters.
