Bravo to the @sofestofbooks for hosting a delightful weekend of literature. It was such a treat to talk books with @mirandasmithwriter and meet so many fun readers. Apologies to those of you who weren't able to get a signed copy of Buried because it sold out, but fret not, I'll be back next year. taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @danielgmillerauthor

Leaving a steady path to chase a writing career takes courage, but it also takes trust. Trust that the story inside you is worth telling.

Considering a leap like this yourself? We’d love to hear about it in the comments. by @danielgmillerauthor

Do you live in Nashville? Near Nashville? Have you always wanted to go to Nashville?

Clear your weekend schedule because I will be rolling into town along with a truckload of great authors for the annual Southern Festival of Books, a rollicking weekend celebrating literature, culture and more.

Join me Saturday at 11 AM for a panel and signing with @mirandasmithwriter (author of Scary Movie Night) in the Caney Fork Room - Library.

It's the perfect spooky season activity. 👻

See you there!

A great thriller doesn’t just make you afraid of what’s coming.

It makes you question what’s hiding in the shadows, what secrets are waiting to be uncovered, and whether you can trust what you think you know.

That’s the kind of tension I wanted to build with Buried In The Woods Below, and I’d LOVE to hear what you guys think. 🌲📖 by @danielgmillerauthor

Thank you @poisonedpenpress @sourcebooks for the highlight of the Heartland Fall Forum. They hosted the “funnest” dinner party at The Newsroom in Minneapolis. I had the honor of sitting between authors @carterwilsonauthor and @danielgmillerauthor . I am a fan and can’t wait to get my greedy little paws on copies of their new novels. Add these authors to your TBR . Great suspense writing. @valerie_diana_pierce25 @valleybookseller #suspense #thriller #hff2026 #minneapolis taken in The News Room by @danielgmillerauthor

Have you ever finished a book and immediately been like "where the heck did this author get the idea for this story!?"

Whelp, I got to ask @danielgmillerauthor that exact question about Buried in the Woods Below and the answer was chilling. Like, I'm still thinking about it 3 weeks later.

Our full chat is officially up on YouTube and Spotify! We talk about Orphanage by the Lake, Buried in the Woods Below and BOTH WIPs (yes. there are two. because he is a machine.). by @danielgmillerauthor
