A really short story.

The ordinary has always fascinated me. The conversations overheard on buses, the child staring out of a classroom window, the neighbour everyone thinks they know. I borrow little pieces from life and imagine the rest.

This is the first of many.

If you read it, thank you. If it stayed with you, even better.

The sound is sweet but the aftermath leaves a bitter taste. The way money goes in is rarely the way it goes out 😂
I know salary earners can relate to this self-traumatic cycle at the end of the month.

Love and harm can exist in the same room.
That's what makes some conversations so difficult to have.

But we need to talk about it.

If you are Tolu, please don't go. And if you know someone who is like Tolu, please show them a little love and care. Read body language, not everyone is okay.

A lot of us can relate with this form of embezzlement 😂 but it was never done for bad intentions. We all have those moments that seem unfair, but sometimes they are the little things that keep us going.

What part did you like?

Not every story begins with "Once upon a time."
Some begin with today's headlines.
