Felt a little homesick for a time and place I once knew, so I made the kind of dinner that feels home. 🥹🇲🇽

Last night it was homemade carne con papas, arroz y tortillas de harina. A little piece of my upbringing, right at my own table. 🤎

Ingredients:
- 6 Roma tomatoes (3 tomatoes diced to go in crockpot / 3 to go in blender)
- 1 white onion (half onion sliced to go in crockpot / the other half chopped to go in blender)
- 2 Serrano peppers (in blender)
- 2 poblano peppers (thinly sliced to go in crockpot)
- 5 cloves garlic (in the blender)
- 1 cup beef broth (in the blender)
- 1 tbsp salt (blender)
- 1 tsp pepper (blender)
- 1 tsp oregano (blender)
- 1 tsp cumin (blender)
- Chuck roast (cut into cubes)
- 4-5 russet potatoes (cut into cubes)
- 1 bay leaf (in crockpot)

Cubed chuck roast goes into crockpot, followed by the potatoes, then the sliced onions & poblano peppers, & diced tomatoes. Pour the blended ingredients over and mix.

We’ve been loving showing up for our Tampa Bay teams lately! ⚡️💙

Date night at @benchmarkintlarena for the Lightning home opener against the Capitals was a blast!! 🏒

Tampa Bay sports nights might be our new favorite date nights. 🤭

Okayyy D’Rose Gastrobar… you got us!! 😮‍💨🔥

Josh and I checked out D’Rose Gastrobar in Ybor City and WOW. Easily some of the best Colombian-inspired food we’ve had in Tampa Bay. 🇨🇴

Everything was packed with flavor, the music had us vibing the entire time, & Sebastian took such great care of us! The kind of spot where you’re already planning what you’re ordering next before you even leave. 😂

Safe to say… we’ll be back VERY soon. Next visit = seafood edition 🤭

Save this one for your next Tampa foodie night! ✨

Come for the milkshakes, stay for ALL the options. 🥤🍓 We loved how much there was to choose from at @theyardmilkshakebar located in Downtown St. Pete, FL…and I fear The Yard’s Dirty Sodas have officially become my new hyperfixation. 😂

We tried the Strawberries & Cream Cheesecake specialty shake, a Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss Mini Moo, and the Porch Light Root Beer Dirty Soda… and not a miss in sight. 👏🏽

Whether you’re going all in on a specialty shake, want something a little smaller, or just need a Dirty Soda for the road, they’ve got something for every kind of sweet tooth.

Go check them out! 🍦🍨

Lunch date at @olivia_modernitalian the other day with the family 🤎 I really need to get better about sharing all the places we visit around Tampa Bay because this one is always a favorite.

We finally went to try the viral chicken parm, but the arancini will forever have my heart. 🤌🏼 If you’re looking for a spot for lunch, date night, or a family meal in Tampa, Olivia is definitely worth adding to your list. I don’t make up the rules, I simply enforce them.

Stopped by @surlatable because their Anniversary Sale is going on, & I’d been eyeballing a baking dish sitting in my cart 🤎

Welllll, one baking dish turned into two 😂 I promise it made sense!! And then we found a few of their $19.72 Anniversary Sale deals we just couldn’t walk away from.

I genuinely love finding pieces that make being in my kitchen even more enjoyable, so this was such a fun stop in Hyde Park w Josh.

Check out my Sur La Table storefront to see what we found. (Link in my bio). 🫶🏽

Check out this before and after! We’ve slowly been making our house feel more like home and I’m loving every little change. 🤎 I’m a homebody through and through, so creating spaces we actually love spending time in just makes me happy.

I may get creative control but Josh deserves his kudos for helping bring it all to life! Def a team effort around here. 🤎

I was soo excited about our Pottery Barn dining table, and little by little with finds from Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop & Target, we’ve been bringing the space together. 🥹 And can we talk about the chandelier?! I used to SWEAR it had to go… and now somehow I love it. 🥰

Still a work in progress, but I think that’s part of the fun. What would you add next? 🤎 by @daniellabarry_
