At 18, I joined the Street Team at Mix/SeaFM, at 20, I made my way into the office, landing at the reception desk and eventually taking on a little side hustle in the Promotions department.

Somehow, 5 years later down the track I’ve walked out those doors for the last time…

I’m so grateful I got to call this place work for the last five years. The street team gave me confidence, pushed me out of my comfort zone and shaped so much of who I was becoming. Working in the office, a baby in the corporate world, taught me even more and played a huge part in shaping who I am today.

I’ll miss the chaos that I got to see from my desk, the d&m’s, the makeup studio and hair salon from my desk, the corporate goss, the laughs, the funny moments and everything in between. But more than anything, i will miss the people.

I walked out with more than five years of memories, I walked out with lifelong friends and a whole little village that I’ll always be grateful for.

After 5 years, I decided it was time for me to chase some dreams of my own and start a new chapter. I’m excited for what’s next, but leaving something that’s been such a huge part of my life is bittersweet.

Thank you to everyone who made these the best five years. Thank you for the laughs, alllllll of the lessons, the beautful memories and for making the workplace feel like home.

In honour of Suicide Prevention Month, I’ll be walking 63km from September 10 to 16 with Out Of Shadows to support Lifeline

I’m doing this for anyone who’s struggling, anyone we have lost, and to hopefully help remind people that support is always there!
