What if caring for yourself wasn’t something you squeezed in after everything else, but something you made space for first?

Not every experience needs to be put into words.
Sometimes the deepest shifts happen in the moments we stop trying to understand and simply allow ourselves to feel🦋

Your first somatic session isn’t the finish line

The Somatic Face Method™ is an experience that goes far beyond the surface of the skin.

Through breath, intentional touch, gentle movement, sound, and stillness, we begin to create space for the body to soften.

Not by forcing it to relax.
Not by asking it to release.
But by offering moments of safety, presence, and connection.

Because the nervous system doesn’t change through one moment of calm. It learns through repetition. Through experiences that remind the body what it feels like to slow down, receive, and simply be. 🪽 by @danielle.skintegrity

She said it🦋

This is why I stopped knowing how to call this “just a facial.” by @danielle.skintegrity

Flexible>Calm

Nervous system regulation isn’t about staying in one state. It’s about having the flexibility to move between them. by @danielle.skintegrity

She thinks she’s just getting a little facial with mama. 🥹

There’s something so special about getting to share this part of myself with her.

To let her experience being cared for, slowing down, and simply receiving.

And maybe, without even realizing it, I’m showing her that taking care of herself can be something she grows up knowing she deserves.

Your body remembers what it’s had to hold.

Somatic work gives it the space to remember something else: softness, safety, release.

And with repetition, the nervous system begins to learn a new way to be

Your nervous system doesn’t change because you told it to relax.

We spend so much time trying to change the face from the outside, but rarely consider the state of the person underneath it.
