My baby sister has been a married woman for a whole ass year which makes no sense bc we were just playing Barbie’s in our little bedroom yesterday?
Just kidding.
My gorgeous woman of a sister married the love of her life, my new big brother, one year ago today and it was the sweetest day ever.
All of their best friends gathered together and cried over how perfect they are as a couple.
We had a beautiful dinner with cute speeches (@ericjamestorneros) and then we sang our hearts out into the wee hours of the morning.
It was perfect.
I cried all day.
I’m crying still.

On Sunday April 5, our sweet angel girl Charlie left this earth to join the cosmos. To say we are shocked and devastated would be the understatement of the century. I don’t know how to be me without her.

I keep thinking I left her in the backyard, only to be hit square in the face that she’s not here anymore. It’s fucking weird.

We rescued her in 2016 as two broke
twenty- somethings. I remember a few people in our lives were like, “you sure?” But the second I saw her picture I knew she was ours (see pic no. 20).

She went along with every crazy whim Kiki and I had but was still her own lady (aka she didn’t love to listen lol).
She swam in rivers, ran in the woods, hated dog parks, loved to lay down in the snow, and was always looking for a discarded piece of cheese somewhere.

I am trying to remain grateful that I not only got nearly a decade with the best girl but a decade of the most unconditional love one can experience. She taught me and Kyle so much and was there for us in all of our moments both big and small.

Thank you to our wonderful support system who have been checking in on us, sending us gifts and being the best family to our girl, despite her hatred for your animals.
We will be having a celebration at some point in the next few weeks (dogs included) so stay tuned.

Welp it happened. My guy is 40. Doesn’t look a day over 35 of course 🙄

I met him when he was 25. Just starting out in the world. Finding out who he was and where he belonged. But the truth of the matter is that he’s always known who he is. Which is precisely why he’s where he’s at today.

He constantly shows up for me. Lets me know when I need to chill the fk out (which is obviously rare). He loves Oasis, Jerry Garcia, our dog Charlie, his entire family (which is A LOT of people), bacon, eggs, Lucy (the truck and the grandma), every friend he’s met along the way, and me most of all so TAKE THAT! Jk.

But really I couldn’t be prouder to be his wife.

My keeks, the love I have for you goes beyond what anyone can comprehend. My daily goal is to make you laugh. To make you proud. To show you just how deep the love I have for you is.

You are the most impressive, kind, loving, and let’s be honest - HOTTEST person I know.
Being married to you is the best thing on earth.

It’s my guys birthday! One of the best days of the year.

I know we both wish we were riding on country roads in Lucy today, singin’ along to the Dead, stopping for a Pacifico in the sun.
So I’m sorry you got a rainy day at the office lol.

But I know that in either place, in any place, you still have that same goofy smile on with the same positive outlook on life, keeping things sunny.
