Weeks have gone by, and I am still on an emotional and mental high from my birthday party!I had such a blast laughing, hugging, and DANCING the night away with some of the people that I love and trust most. I know y’all may be tired of the grad photos 😂 But I’m not - lol ♥️It’s been over a month since graduation… but I’m still taking in all the feels that have come from packing up my life in Chicago to embark on a two year journey at Duke. I expected this journey to be linear with nothing but upside and positives. And yet, the grief, disappointments, setbacks and wins along this path forced me into one of the most introspective and personally transformative periods of my life. On May 9, 2026, I earned my Master of Business Administration from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business ( @dukefuqua ).Two years ago, I set out to deepen my knowledge of finance and develop skills I could apply across different spectrums of business, from operating and leading organizations to understanding the strategies that shape them. I am grateful to the new friends, classmates, and professors who challenged my thinking, and to have led Fuqua’s Luxury Brands Club alongside my Co-President Ogechi Onyeukwu. I will never forget my time in France studying marketing, leadership, and luxury business at HEC Paris ( @hecparismba ), or exploring environmental sustainability in Copenhagen, Tromsø, and Oslo through Fuqua’s GATE Program. My time at Duke fundamentally changed the way I see business, and the kind of impact I want to make in the world.This journey has been bittersweet. There were moments of setback, grief, and doubt. My time in Paris, France is finally coming to a close. I expected to have a calendar packed with meetings & events. But to my surprise, the last few months have been filled with rest, reflection, and the freedom and space to think creatively about my life & future. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that productivity doesn’t always look like acceleration. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is slow down, reset, and run your own race. So, I moved to Paris, France… for two months.Over the past six weeks, I have been studying abroad at HEC Paris (@hecparismba ), the #6 MBA program in the world by the @financialtimes . My time in France gave me a global lens on business and problem-solving, and real clarity about the work that energizes me most.I learned alongside brilliant students, experts, and professionals from every corner of the world. I got exposure to AI in business, entrepreneurship through acquisition, and even explored my love for luxury, fashion, and beauty through my Luxury Business class, in the global capital of fashion & luxury.After a challenging 2025, I was nervous to move 4,000 miles away, even temporarily. But Paris was exactly the reset I needed.
