Still one of our favorite memories- Glacier Jet skiing in Whittier Alaska!
When we reached the main glacier Slade looked at our guide and said “Can I get in?” And the guide looked at him and said “Nobody’s ever asked me that before”
So naturally we both went for a swim in our dry suits and I almost died laughing as we floated around like little inflated marshmallows. 😆 by @daniellemariebee

For those of us who are waiting 🤍

Slade and I aren’t the ones to sit and wait around. Everyone always asks us why we are always traveling and mostly- because how can you not when the world looks like this?

But partially because it’s a wonderful distraction from the waiting. I have to remind myself that a few years is nothing in Gods eyes though from our impatient ones it feels like a lifetime.

So keep this as a reminder that faith is built in the waiting. So we might as well make something beautiful of it.

I know you all prefer the worm video but here’s some less funny photos from White Sands.

If you’re a photographer I highly recommend it- it’s fun to see how much the dunes change as the light changes.

I may not need designer clothes but I definitely have a few Gucci bags worth of adventure gear😅

Day 1: White Sands National Park
Day 2: Carlsbad Caverns
Days 3-7: Big Bend National Park

Crazy that these places are so close to eachother yet feel like completely different worlds.

Annoying < annoying, but with cute fish🐠 by @daniellemariebee

In 2025 Slade and I bought a 100+ year old historic house in Galveston.
It’s been quite the wild ride as we learn every trade from nearly ground zero and work on renovating this 4 plex bit by bit. We’ve been hit by some major plot twists and the fun isn’t over yet. Looking forward to sharing more but for now we are hustling to flip one of our units that got destroyed by previous tenants 😫

Overall we’ve really liked Galveston. It’s a beautiful historic island with lots of character. We’ve made some good friends here and have been keeping plenty busy!

We’re close to the cruise port so come visit:) by @daniellemariebee

Anyone else always quoting this or just us??
