We’re thrilled to share a major milestone for #RuralDaughters! 🌱📊🎬

Some of you may know, we spent 8 months researching and surveying rural, regional and remote women nationwide - with 1,694 respondents lending their voices.

Our research team has just wrapped up seven in-depth thematic analyses of the open-ended survey questions and the stories they’ve unearthed are powerful. (Think of it like sorting a giant pile of colourful beads into matching necklaces: we’ve grouped hundreds of unique experiences into seven shining themes to reveal stories and the patterns that matter most!)

We’ve had our stats reviewed twice (plus a final sign-off from a professional statistician) to ensure 100% accuracy.

What’s next?

• The full report lands in early August.
• The Fed Uni Media team is already talking us through taking these insights national… they’re the first of their kind!
• We’re aiming to attend the National Bush Summit on August 28–29 to share some of the findings live, so stay tuned for details!

Can’t wait to share these stories, data, and recommendations that will drive real change for women in regional Australia.

Thank you for your support so far, this is just the beginning!

Special thanks to Community Enterprise Foundation for supporting us on this journey.

Today I had the absolute joy of working with the wonderful @debralawranceofficial as I prepare for the final narration of our feature documentary, Flourish.

If you grew up watching Home and Away, you’ll know Deb as Pippa… basically Aussie television royalty! 👑🇦🇺📺 After heading off to London’s West End and playing Professor McGonagall in Harry Potter (!!!) she has returned to Australia.

…. and for reasons I’m still pinching myself about, has helped me make friends with my own voice.

Which is handy… because we’ve never really been besties. Me and my voice that is! Early on in my career I started to believe little lies in my head telling me I didn’t like my voice. Too country. Too high pitched. Too feminine. Too gentle. Too Australian. Too loud!

But today, in the most gentle and nurturing way, Deb helped me hear it differently. Not something that needs fixing she said. Just something that needs to be heard in a different way.

Feeling very grateful for brilliant, talented, generous humans who have the gift of helping you see… or in this case, hear… something in yourself that you’d forgotten was there.

Thank you Deb. Big, big love to you + also beautiful @sarahatlarge for the divine connection. 🎙️🤍

I love the serendipity of this shot. Nothing was manufactured or choreographed. Just my favourite crew “crossing” through the frame, quietly doing their jobs + making the story happen. Aggghhh I love them. Dream team. 🫶🏼🎬
