Today marks one year of Sanbar Socials! This is such a special milestone for us, and we are beyond grateful that we get to do what we love everyday and call it work.

I never understood how people can genuinely love their jobs until I started SS, and now I completely get it. Capturing people’s love stories and life’s milestones is something I don’t take lightly and will always treasure. From a bride’s first look with her parents, to a bride and groom’s first dance, and all the magical moments in between, I can confidently say I *love* my job.

I will forever cherish our beautiful clients who have become friends, and all the talented industry creatives who have become our work family. I never thought I would have met so many beautiful people and grown so much as a business in just one year, but when you trust God to take the lead in your life, incredible things can happen🤍

This is only the beginning and I cannot wait to see what the future holds🥹

I am devastated to share that yesterday afternoon my beautiful stepdad, Michael, passed away after fighting for his life in ICU. What was meant to be a straight forward bypass surgery didn’t go as expected, and changed our lives forever.

Watching someone you love die in your arms is a heart wrenching experience that I would never wish anyone to go through.

Although Michael wasn’t my dad by blood, he helped raise me and was there for me any time I needed him. He taught me how to drive, we went on holidays together and he gave me a beautiful little brother that I couldn’t imagine living without.

I will miss you and your ocean eyes so much🩵 I promise to be the best role model for Anthony and I know you are always going to guide us from above as our angel in heaven.

2025, the most challenging, yet rewarding year of my life.

Something I haven’t shared on here is that earlier this year, my dad tragically and unexpectedly passed away. This was during one of our busiest periods of weddings and events. Navigating grief and a growing business was extremely difficult, but through the Grace of God I showed up day in and day out, and poured my heart into each and every single event, because our beautiful clients deserved nothing less.

Although I’ve faced great challenges in 2025, I’ve also been blessed with the most incredible clients and reached so many milestones. I would have never imagined SS would be what it is now in only a year and a half.

We’ve captured countless events, met so many industry creatives and formed relationships with people who are now friends.

We’ve grown so much as a business this year, and that wouldn’t be possible without each follower, client and industry friend. I get to wake up every day and do what I truly love, and for that, I am beyond grateful🤍

I’m praying 2026 is filled with lots of love, happiness, health and success for everyone.

Bring on the new year☁️
