I'm still taking my painting classes. One worked on this one for so long it seems. I'm done, I'm don't anything else to do. Learning to paint is such a journey. I'm frustrated every class but I keep going. I want to see where this goes. While this painting is done, I'm still a work in progress. #valuestudy #rosepainting #shadesofgrey by @daniellesoriginal

Finished! I am still working on realism, but I wanted to go back and finish this one. This is more of a coloring page. I draw the outline first and go back and color it in. I used gellyroll pens and pentel mattehop pens. #mattehop #gellyroll #coloringtherapy by @daniellesoriginal

This is it! I'm not doing anything else to this bird. I hope you all like it. It's a big departure from my abstract work, but I'm trying to learn more realism. #birdlovers #valuestudy #blackandwhiteart by @daniellesoriginal

Ok, this is the finished product from my art class last week. This was done with pastels on pastel paper. This is the first time I've used pastels in years!! Let me know what you think. I'm working on realism and it's been quite the journey. I'll keep posting my pictures from class to show my progress. #pastels #apple #valuestudy by @daniellesoriginal

Just a couple of hours of pen hitting paper to clear my mind. 🖊️ There’s something so therapeutic about filling a blank page with intricate linework.

Materials:

Smooth marker paper

Copic markers

Gold gel pen

This is drawn on Bristol smooth paper using uniball signo dx 0.38 pens. I've been loving using pens lately. I like that there are so many colors to choose from. Hope you like this one! #uniball #pendrawings by @daniellesoriginal

This is a coloring page that I've made. I haven't colored it in yet. Maybe I should leave it blank? What do you think? #adultcoloringbook by @daniellesoriginal

This was done on chalkboard paper using mattehop panel pens and gellyroll pens. I LOVE these pens and the paper is perfect for making the colors pop. #yellow #art #abstract #gellyrollpens #mattehop by @daniellesoriginal

Just finished this today....I love the way the colors pop. This is done on chalk board black paper. I used a mix of gellyroll pens and mattehop pens. I love the organic shapes and fluid lines. I just love abstract art because it helps me to get into a flow state. by @daniellesoriginal
