So excited to let you all know that my solo release "After the Allotments" is out now!

Commissioned by @cafeotodalston inhouse label OTOROKU it was home recorded earlier this year where I had some fun with improvising and song making.

'After the Allotments sees this expansive approach in full flow, blending improvised and structured forms in delightfully unexpected ways. Across the five tracks, Price crafts an enviable parallel universe where singer-songwriters have traded their ubiquitous acoustic guitars for tubas."

Cover art captured beautifully by photographer @giulianaborrelli_

Mix by Sonny Johns
Master by Oli Barret

Record available here ⤵️

Scottish tuba artist and improviser Danielle Price explores tuba and voice at Tectonics Glasgow 2026.

A "magician-musician" (Aby Vulliamy), Danielle's music emerges from the physical labour of making sound, where improvisation and breath are the music’s core material.
