“Fortune’s winds sing Godspeed to thee!!!” 🚢🫡

What a remarkable show this was! I am so incredibly proud of it. With this being my first production at @theatrelabdc, this has got to be one of if not, THE best show that I have ever done in my career of theatre. The whole cast was amazing, and were literally the nicest people that I have ever done a production with and we just became one big family.

I am so incredibly proud that I chose Theatre Lab and the directors, cast, and crew made it enough to call it my new home. I’m truly going to miss “smoking” on stage, playing cards, and begging to get on lifeboats.

The fact that we become so close to each other is what made this program so special! Always chanting, line dancing, and becoming my greatest friends. I have never felt more cared and loved than the Theatre Lab family and I’m forever grateful for that.

To the Titanic cast, keep sailing on and I hope we can all continue what we all do and love. You gave me the best theatre experience ever. Have a great summer and break legs to those in Footloose! Mr. Astor, out!

As Disney begins construction over their upcoming attraction Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we say farewell to Splash Mountain which will permanently close on May 31st, 2023! Recorded on May 19th, 2023, I am taking my last rides on Splash Mountain. It was truly a bittersweet moment because not only was my last ride on this classic for this trip, but my final ride EVER on Splash! I would like to thank all the cast members for everything they have done for me to make this experience truly magical! (Including giving me my very own log on my final ride on Splash!) I am going to miss this attraction sooooo much! by @daniellevine19

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. But in this case, we are bidding adieu to the best log flume, Splash Mountain before it closes on January 23rd. This is one of my final rides on this masterpiece! I’m going to miss it. taken in Splash Mountain by @daniellevine19

Justice through strength and courage ✊

A love letter to the greatest show I have ever seen in my life. @stonbroadway has changed me for the best. Not only because of the show itself, but I have also made a new community of friends along the way that I wouldn’t be able to make anywhere else. And oh my god this show is SO MUCH FUN!! The acting, the special effects, all of it makes you feel like you are in an episode of Stranger Things! I would like to thank all my friends who decided to come see the show with me, all the actors from both the year 1 and 2 cast, and my newest friends I made at the rush lines, in the theater, and the stage door! This is officially the record breaking show I saw the most out of any show on Broadway and West End seeing it 50 times. I would like to shoutout @zoe.mk.dunn @macymadalinski and @_payelizabeth because I didn’t think I’d get through the spring sem without you guys! Your enthusiasm and love for this show alone make it even better. This show means the world to me because of all the friends and memories. Dream on dreamers! “Who are you callin’ a carp??” 🥂🧽🦑🐿️

I am so proud of this cast, crew, and production! I couldn’t ask for a better final show with @theatrelabdc and MTIT! I was so terrified because I haven’t done session 2 before and I still had post Hadestown depression, but after 4 weeks, this has got to be the most trusting and supportive cast of people that I have ever done a production with. I have never been more loved and cared than with the MTIT program, and I will forever cherish the most amazing people I came across throughout my years! Goodbye Bikini Bottom, and MTIT! ❤️

(Not going to tag people bc there’s so many and can’t get everyone in one post, but I’m proud of you all)

“And we’re gonna sing it again!” 🌹

I am so deeply grateful that I got this opportunity to be a part of this amazing show. I made the best of friends, shared my Playbills, wear a headlamp on my head, and just have the best time with the most amazing people. Hadestown was the show that I saw on Broadway before my family left me for my first year of college, and being able to perform it is a full circle moment. @theatrelabdc is the most welcoming and supportive theater community I have ever been in and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it.

“I contain frickin’ multitudes!” - @kbelflower

Guys, I saw @sadiesink_ perform live in person after seeing her on my home tv for years and cannot stop shutting up about it! This is now officially the Broadway play that I saw the most with a record breaking 9 times! (Saw it 2 more times Sophomore year before closure and now Stranger Things the First Shadow is the play I saw the most) The whole cast was absolutely fantastic and they really got to know and recognise me after multiple visits to the stage door! This play is also so amazing and very emotional so please catch it while you can!

First semester done!

I gotta say, I feel like I’m growing. There were some ups and downs, but I managed to get through it! I made some new friends, saw some Broadway shows, experienced something new with my classes, and I feel more independent than I was in high school!

This show was so amazing! Thank you Notebook for changing my life. I have watched this a lot more than my average Broadway show. (I saw it 6 times!!!) I thought I wouldn’t see another show as good as the Phantom of the Opera. I was SO wrong! I think this one is just as good! If not, better! I would like to give a special shoutout to @annazavelson and @bennjisantiago! Welcome to Broadway! I saw your debut show. You guys are so talented and I am so proud of all the work you have accomplished. Thanks for taking the time to take pictures with me and sign multiple Playbills. The Notebook was just an amazing college gift and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I’m going to miss the songs, the actors, (the smell of the water! Yes even that is memorable), and just an amazing experience. You guys were amazing. It doesn’t feel right that this show closed, and I’m going to cherish this masterpiece for the rest of my life!

I don’t usually do the sappy post show, like ever. But this one felt so rewarded that it’s going to be my first one. I cannot put into words how much @theatrelabdc meant to me! I connected with literally the best cast and crew that I ever worked with in a long time, and the fact that we became so close over a short amount of weeks makes it feel like home.

It’s absolutely devastating that the Musical Theatre Institute for Teens has come to an end for the season, and I’m still recovering from post Titanic depression. But ever since I saw Carrie, I was so impressed by how well done the choreography was (and how terrifying!) the actors did such a good job that it gave me inspiration and thought to join the Theatre Lab, and I’m SOOOOO glad that I did.

Titanic is literally the best show that I have ever done in my life. Even better than any other theater production I was ever in. And seeing people in Footloose was so heartwarming because I got to see all my old partners in there. I want to thank @luciaclanave, @killersingledad and @sayakavy for everything they have done to make this program what it is. And to of course, our amazing director, @gottesmandeb.

I’m not going to try to tag everyone because I can’t tag every single person, but I am proud of everyone that I worked with, and I hope our connection we made at Theatre Lab will keep lasting forever. I have never in my life done a theater program where I felt loved, cared, and supported than you guys. We even sold the most tickets out of any other production in Theatre Lab history! I love you guys!!! And I love Theatre Lab!!
