At almost 50, I now look for shapewear that’s flattering, comfortable and affordable. 🤍👖

Trying on a few shape wear styles that I can wear everyday. From lightweight, gentle hold to stronger support and compression styles.

All styles enhancing your curves and giving a smooth, sculpted look to hold everything in place & with no bulge. Basic styles with a bonus.

Yummie delivers with style! ✨

A little life update. Trooper turns 13 next month and Vestibular disease is common in older dogs. Our other 2 other fur angels, Willie and Sweet Pea, both had it happen to them. Willie’s lasted longer and was really hard on him. Sweet Pea’s happened very quickly and maybe lasted a day thankfully.

Last night Trooper struggled to get up around 10pm and then fell over multiple times on our bed. I picked him up off of the bed and took him out to the grass. He was able to walk for a moment and potty but then fell again as he tried to turn.

We transformed our bedroom floor area into a fort with pillows and moved the furniture as borders. Put another mattress on the floor that I had ready and stored up front for a bedroom upstairs (one positive thing from our renovation that still isn’t finished).

Slept beside him. He did pretty well overnight but he cannot walk still. His eyes are not as rapidly moving. He sits up and tries to shake his head and falls over again. He has been drinking water and wagging his tail so that is a good sign. Going to watch him and try to keep him home right now for improvement. I have a rotation of red light therapy going for him, PEMF and a grounding mat.

Please keep him in your prayers for a swift recovery. 🐶🙏🏻 by @danielleyancey

Before the Berlin Marathon, I went to Bavaria. Landed in Munich early, then took train to Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. I spent the day there and it was overwhelming the horrific facts of what happened there.

When I landed in Munich, my driver was so excited to tell me about Oktoberfest. Didn’t know it had already begun. I walked there the first night to see what it was all about and it was huge. Got a large pretzel to try - no beer - most were dressed in Bavarian attire - Drindl and Lederhosen. 🥨

Next day, I took a train to Salzburg, Austria. I was on a semi private tour with another couple from New Jersey. It was such a fairytale of a day and got to see many sites from the Sound of Music - one was the fountain where they sang Do-Re-Mi, Mirabell Palace and the prettiest gardens, Fortress Hohensalzburg / Castle. Toured the home of Mozart where he grew up. Amazing lunch at the top of a fortress overlooking Salzburg - had traditional Spinatknodel - spinach dumplings - tried a local non-alcoholic beer. Later the most delicious cinnamon roll, special authentic hand rolled chocolate - Mozartkugal - and then the best Sachertorte chocolate cake and coffee - all known to Austria. And the surprising highlight was seeing the St. Peter’s ancient Cemetary. It was so pretty!

The next day I took a tour through old town Munich. Highlight was seeing the Rathaus-Glockenspiel 32 life-sized figures of the cuckoo clock in action in Marienplatz Square. The storied performance of the clock lasts about 15 min.

From there, I flew to Berlin with more tours learning and seeing historic sites. Then, the finale of the marathon and seeing even more while running through Berlin.

Since returning, I’ve been watching documentaries on the history of Germany. Fascinating after visiting and seeing these sights first hand.

Back to Bart and Trooper and our house that is under never ending construction. 😱 by @danielleyancey

Berlin Marathon was this past Sunday!! 🇩🇪 I’m back after a week being in Germany. Ran with @kulturecity runners from Bham and Cali and we all finished strong! Running for sensory inclusion for those with autism, PTSD, dementia, and many other invisible disabilities. 🎧

I’ll update more of travels on another post. 🧳

Thankful to God for giving me the ability to train and run my 4th of 8 World Major Marathons. I’ve been accepted in 2 more next year. Now that I’m back from Germany - will take a little time off of running and then will begin training again later this year for the next one.

AND I’ve been off of social media for a few months! With life, our home renovation that has still not ended as of even today!!!! 🤯 And illnesses within my family.

I plan on updating more often but it has been a lot going on! Social media is a blessing in many ways. It gave me the ability to use my creative side for years and I hit a wall with life over this past year with many road blocks. I don’t discount the many friendships and community here but just have not been able to get things together personally lately.

Getting myself slowly back into a routine and want to share more soon! 🙏🏻♥️ by @danielleyancey

KultureBall 2026 ♥️🔥 The 12th annual @kulturecity weekend was full of celebration and a huge success! We’ve attended the annual event & been part of KultureCity for 10 yrs now. Proud to serve on the Board. We even held 2020’s KultureBall during C- vid at our home!

Huge thanks to the best hosts @kenjeong @kristenanniebell @arianmoayed 🧨🥰

We’ve watched KultureCity grow now to the world’s leading nonprofit on sensory accessibility and acceptance for those with sensory disabilities. Now in 5 continents! 🌎

Making the Nevers Possible. 🎧💕 by @danielleyancey

Hello my friends! Life got overwhelming with family health issues and then our home renovation that has not ended yet! I had to focus on things and was not able to mentally get on social media much at all.

My 50th Birthday was at the end of May. Finally posting pics from a weekend in Sea Island, GA.
50 is here and can’t believe it! It’s brought along many life challenges. Trying to remain positive and lean on my faith in the Lord!

Hoping to post more and catch up with my friends on here! 🩷 by @danielleyancey

This has been one of my favorite things to use - my red light mat! 🔥 I use it almost daily and more often at night like a blanket for 20 or up to 60 min at bedtime. It helps to regulate my circadian rhythm for better sleep. 💤

Helps with recovery after my long runs, especially after my marathon, and workouts where my muscles and joints are sore; reducing inflammation and pain. ♥️

It’s collagen boosting and supports my skin.

50 will be here at the end of the month! 😱

It’s been 2 years now since we signed this renovation contract!

This renovation has been so slow. I posted an update a couple months ago and there has not been a lot of movement since. Hoping to share more when we get moving along. 🏠🔨 by @danielleyancey

Now that I’m back, it’s time for recovery & rest! Much needed after the London marathon.

Sitting poolside sounds like a great spot to slow down, relax and get some vit D. ☀️ AND the tan lines from my running shorts definitely need blending now. 😱

Try on haul of swimwear and coverups from @cupshe 👙 Black and white styles that are classic and timeless. 🖤🤍

Vacay ready for warm weather trips and poolside. 🏖️

London has my heart and the 2nd trip was as special as the 1st. So much beauty to see. I can’t wait to go back! 🇬🇧

All the sayings in London - well done, mind the hump, mind the gap, wobbly bits, just take the wiggle around here, so many more. What a trip!

Thankful to have caught more wisteria sightings this time - a gorgeous site. Love seeing all of the architecture in London! And definitely the food so good - Jacuzzi at @bigmamma.uk , @sketchlondon , @boroughmarket and lots of matcha and coffee along the way @grind 🩷☕️ by @danielleyancey

London marathon! 🇬🇧 Loved running it again for @kulturecity, helping make the Nevers possible for so many with sensory invisible disabilities and their families.

If this was my last marathon, I would be happy with it being the last one. What a day! So many runners and fantastic spectator support. So many fun costumes to watch and give entertainment during the run. Great views - The Tower Bridge gives all the feels! Then Big Ben, past Buckingham Palace and finishing on the Mall! Truly a great race to run! Would love cooler weather though! 🔥🥵

Every marathon I’ve run brings along different challenges and this one brought on a new one! But stuck through and finished. Final time 4:31:44.

Thankful for God giving me the ability to run, thankful to use that to run with the KultureCity team and thankful to run for so many who cannot.
