🇩🇪 Moin ich bin Daniel und so sieht es aus wenn ich meinen Beruf nachgehe. Viel Action, viel Wasser, wie Spaß und viel Kreativität.

Ich bin seit 2016 selbständig, fotografiere Sport Action und Versuche dabei immer neue Kreative wege zu finden um die Sport Art die ich fotografieren in eine Art Kunstform zu verwandeln. Natürlich richte ich mich nach den Bedürfnissen meiner Kunden und Sportlern.

Ich freue mich auf die neue Saison und hoffe euch ganz viel von meinen Shootings und meinen Ergebnissen zeigen zu können.

I’ve been self-employed since 2016, photographing sports and action while always trying to find new, creative ways to turn the sport I’m capturing into a form of art. Of course, I tailor my work to the needs of my clients and athletes.

🇬🇧 An event is so much more than just the sport. 📸

It’s the athletes, the people behind them, the supporters, the crew and all those little moments in between.

That’s what I try to capture: not just the action, but the whole event. This is how I saw the Wingfoil Clash. 🌊
Would you have photographed these moments too?

And image 20? It definitely doesn’t deserve last place – but you’ll see why. 😂

Es sind die Sportler, die Menschen dahinter, die Unterstützer, die Crew und all die kleinen Momente dazwischen.

🇬🇧 Imagine this: the Illume finalists have been announced… and I’m not one of them. 😂📸

Unfortunately, the semifinals were the end of the road for me. But image No. 5 made it into the Top 750 – and I’m still super happy about that. 🔥

Here’s a small selection of my submissions. My head is already full of new ideas, so let’s see what happens next time. 👀

🇬🇧 Sports photographers in their natural habitat. 📸😂

At the Send It Wingfoil Cash, apparently it wasn’t just the wingfoil action being documented – the photographer himself was under close observation too. 👀

Stalking the subject. Finding cover. Camera ready. And waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Looking at it this way, sports photography might actually be closer to a wildlife documentary than I thought. 😂

Beim Send It Wingfoil Cash wurde diesmal nicht nur der Wingfoil-Sport dokumentiert – offenbar stand auch der Fotograf selbst unter genauer Beobachtung. 👀

Anpirschen. Deckung suchen. Kamera bereithalten. Und im richtigen Moment zuschlagen.

Wenn ich mir das so anschaue, ist Sportfotografie einer Naturdoku vielleicht doch ähnlicher, als ich bisher dachte. 😂

🇬🇧 And just like that, another event is already over. 🌊📸

The very first Wingfoil Clash 2026 is in the books – and I had the opportunity to capture the event through both photo and video.

You’ve already seen the videos, so now it’s finally time to share some of my favorite photos. 🔥

I love playing with colors, searching for new perspectives and finding different ways to show sports. And surprisingly, that was pretty challenging for me this time. I already know the spot quite well, and at times I genuinely felt like I was struggling to find fresh and varied angles.

But that’s exactly why it’s worth continuing to search instead of settling for the first shot.

Because looking through the results now, I’d say:
Okay… somehow it worked out pretty damn well. 😜

🇩🇪 Und so schnell ist ein Event auch schon wieder vorbei. 🌊📸

Die erste Ausgabe des Wingfoil Clash 2026 ist Geschichte – und ich durfte das Event mit Foto und Video begleiten.

Die Videos habt ihr bereits gesehen, also wird es höchste Zeit, euch auch einige meiner fotografischen Favoriten zu zeigen. 🔥

Ich liebe es, mit Farben zu spielen, neue Perspektiven zu suchen und Sport ein bisschen anders zu zeigen. Und genau das war dieses Mal überraschend schwierig. Ich kenne den Spot ziemlich gut und hatte zwischendurch wirklich das Gefühl, keine neuen und abwechslungsreichen Blickwinkel zu finden.

Aber genau deshalb lohnt es sich manchmal, weiterzusuchen und nicht beim ersten Bild aufzuhören.

Denn wenn ich jetzt durch die Ergebnisse schaue, denke ich: Okay … irgendwie hat’s dann doch ziemlich gut funktioniert. 😜
