Not going to lie, this one feels kinda damn special.

When I embarked on launching @fashion_minority_report a little over 3 years ago (seriously, where has the time gone) I didn’t even know what it could be, let alone that I’d be listed as one of 100 Vogue Business Innovators.

Humbled, proud and thankful to team FMR, our community, our clients / partners and those at VB for selecting me.

I had the absolute PLEASURE of being invited by Copenhagen Fashion week to join a panel discussion about Championing Change for Underrepresented Voices.

It was a rich conversation, and I had a great time sharing my thoughts on the topic with my fellow panelists.

I look forward to returning later this year to build on a partnership between @fashnminorityrpt and CPHFW.

We closed out our recent Careers Day event with a conversation between our Founder, Daniel, and the formidable Navi Ahluwalia, Managing Editor at @hypebae.

The two spoke about Navi’s journey into journalism (which wasn’t so linear) and how she navigates the changing landscape of media in her editorial role.

A great way to end the evening with attendees over drinks, and we can’t wait to see you at our next event.

As much as I needed a haircut, I thoroughly enjoyed moderating this panel for @walpole_uk about Inclusive Luxury, with a focus on Fresh Perspectives.

It was a timely conversation with @mrjamiegill, @uwern, Charlotte Weatherall from the Corinthia, and Sarah Robert’s from Mulberry, that set as a reminder that as we all battle to get customers in-store, online or experiencing what we have to offer, now is the time to consider how a diversity of perspectives can bring innovation, invigoration and a lens that makes us more resilient — helping us attract new customers whilst retaining the ones we already have.

Last Wednesday we hosted our first ever FMR Festive Community Get Together (which we hope to become a yearly tradition) in Shoreditch, and what a night it was!

We welcomed mentees and members of our wider community for drinks and a conversation with the very talented @maximilianraynor which was hosted by our founder, Daniel Peters.

Maxi’s insights about breaking into the industry were pure gold and everyone on the night loved hearing about his early steps (aged 10) writing to the formidable @viviennewestwood

Fashion Fun at the #FashionAwards.

I quite like to refer to it as Fashion Christmas because of the sheer fun and excitement I have from seeing some of my favourite people.

A night spent dressed up (thanks @asos_man / @topman) and seeing some of our mentees made it ALL the more special.
