The government has turned their back on us and the builders will not take responsibility. We're facing financial ruin and bankruptcy because of fire safety issues we did not cause, and have no control over fixing.

We're working hard to organise our national rally with NLC on 15/07/21, but between now and then there's something else you can do to protest locally.

We've teamed up with Chloe and Joanna, two leaseholders who have helped organise several of the local protests held in recent weeks, to hit the developers where it hurts – their future sales!

Join us on Sat 5 June, as we take the fight to the developers, and protest outside sales offices up and down the country, forcing some to close and warning potential buyers....Because money is the only language these corporations understand.

Our lives and livelihoods are in danger because our homes were not built safely. We’re feeling angry, hopeless, helpless and trapped. taken in London, United Kingdom by @danielrmrod

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries. In 1969 at a UNESCO Conference in San Francisco, peace activist John McConnell proposed a day to honor the Earth and the concept of peace, to first be observed on March 21, 1970, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere. This day of nature's equipoise was later sanctioned in a proclamation written by McConnell and signed by Secretary General U Thant at the United Nations. A month later a United States Senator Gaylord Nelson proposed the idea to hold a nationwide environmental teach-in on April 22, 1970. by @danielrmrod
