It is some kind of a cruel irony that few hours ajead of the arrival of the year 2020, one of the the most influential dreamer of the future, had past away to eternity. This is my modest tribute to his memory. Your art will be with us forever and his power always will be inspiring. In memory of Mr. Sydney Jay Mead. #sydmead; #danielsimondesign by @danielrs75

Some models aren't about perfection, but more about evocation. Lesney Matchbox made a great work on the Lamborghini Countach engine some 46 years ago. I imagine that the 12 cylinder engine wasn't easy to represent at this scale. However, without CAD computers this work is absolutely more impressive than many of today's CAD designed scale cars. At least that is the perception for many collectors. @matchboxworld ; @matchboxguy by @danielrs75
