Giant Trevally colour can vary a lot depending on their mood, environment, size and behaviour.

Dark/black: Often when they’re excited, aggressive, hunting, or around structure. Big territorial males can become almost black.

Silver/grey: More typical when cruising or relaxed in open water.

Yellowish/golden: Can occur in shallow, sandy or reef environments and under certain lighting.

White/pale: Often when relaxed or when they’re in bright shallow water.

Dark with contrasting fins: Sometimes seen during spawning or territorial behaviour.
