Due to the disastrous earthquakes in the Republic of Turkey in recent days, thousands of displaced people are currently without adequate heat, food and shelter. To make things worse, temperatures are soon expected to fall below zero in eastern parts of Turkey.

The Finnish - Turkish Business Association has responded accordingly by shipping Finnish military stoves as emergency aid, funded by our business members as well as individuals. Stoves of this kind have been used on the frontlines of the war in Ukraine for many months now, and we hope they will be put to good use by Turkish citizens in this time of need. I would like to personally thank everyone involved in fundraising for this emergency aid shipment; it would not have been possible without your generosity.
