One of these days. I won't have to go out like this......I'll be at home making music and poetry...then the stars won't be a once in a lifetime view....I can see them when I take a break or...when I look at you. by @danielwill1876

"Survival is choice and intentions"
If they took away my rights, what do I have left?
I may have to lay down my life for someone else to live.
Because the greatest love is to give your life for a friend.

Even if that friend sees you as an enemy.
And the backstabbing kept missing.
Showing up everytime with smiles.
You're so kind until you realize they take without giving.

I love and I am betrayed.
Who is going to teach him these lessons?
Who's going to shield the young ones.
From the whips that we are getting.

Get up sir..you're not done.
I have to keep living.
Survival is choice and intentions.
There's no such thing as "done" until I win. by @danielwill1876

Is it because I'm black?
When as far as I can see, I'm bot a color or shade.
My skin is, though.
It's funny how all bones are white when the flesh fades.

Do I let the media tell me who to like or who to listen to?
Just because we share a common tone.
Should I hate you because your reflection is paler?
We're all going back to the ground.

I see your shade, but I'm not quick to be aligned.
In the end, I'll only be hurt by my own kind.
That kind is human. What a petty divide.
Blah blah blah, we're still the same on the inside.

Is it because I'm black?
Maybe, but I'm not black, am I?
My skin is, though.
It doesn't matter when we all die. by @danielwill1876

Sometimes we give what we are used to giving to others who aren't used to receiving. May God heal your broken vessel so that you can hold the water that nourishes your life. Love ❤️ by @danielwill1876

Black roses bloom in white spaces.
White roses shine in dark places.
Time empowers us all on our races.
