Big moves happening behind the scenes 🇰🇼🔥

Today I had the pleasure of linking up with Coach @naserjr as we begin building a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Basics course for @sanboouk

Sanboouk’s mission is simple: discover and uncover Kuwait’s hidden talent, bring the country’s best coaches, specialists and creatives into one accessible platform, and make it easier than ever for people to learn, improve, and connect with real experts. We’re building across education, sports, music, and dance, because Kuwait is full of talent that deserves to be seen and supported.

This course is going to be a game-changer — not just for Coach @naserjr students, but for anyone in Kuwait (and beyond) who wants a proper entry point into jiu-jitsu from a top-level coach.

Excited for what’s coming… the journey starts here 🥋🚀

Really proud of this milestone for Kuwait English School.

This was our second tournament as a school team, and the students showed real progress — competing with confidence and coming away with placements in both competitions so far (Emperor of the Mats V + Grappling Industries Kuwait).

Big shoutout as well to the KES teachers who showed up to support the students — it genuinely makes a difference when students feel their school behind them on competition day. Thank you for giving your time and being part of the moment.

We’re still at the early stage, but we’re building something solid here. Looking forward to growing this into a stronger KES Jiu-Jitsu community, and in the future, hopefully seeing more schools step into the competition scene with us — in Kuwait and across the region.

Huge shoutout to Abdulrahman — the first student to represent Kuwait English School in Jiu-Jitsu at Emperors of the Mats 🇰🇼💪. What a performance — winning our first match and giving it everything we had in the second. Considering we only had two weeks of preparation, I couldn’t be prouder of his effort, heart, and composure on the mats. 🥋🔥

This was more than just a competition — it was a milestone. For the first time in Kuwait, a school stood on the mats and represented in Jiu-Jitsu. It’s incredible to see our community growing, schools getting involved, and the passion for the sport spreading among the youth.

It’s an honor to be a part of this amazing Jiu-Jitsu community — the athletes, coaches, and organizers who pour their hearts into it. Thank you to my coach @naserjr and to @saleemteam for their leadership, support, and for building events that bring everyone together. 🙏

This is just the beginning. Next time, I’m bringing back a truckload of students to compete. Let’s keep building. 🖤💚

When they say this journey is filled with peaks and valleys… it’s no joke… but that’s why I love it..

I’m honored to have met both @naserjr and @saleemteam .. to be part of their amazing team of athletes and under their technical guidance especially witnessing day to day how dedicated they are to the sport and martial art of jiujitsu.
