One year without Daniel. I hope everyone takes a moment today to think of your happiest memory with him. I know the pain runs so deep but I hope his memory brings a smile to your face today or it makes you remember the most specific of ways he annoyed you or challenged you. I know I have so many. His lifelong friend @oliviafloodwylie wrote about what it feels like to feel him through the grief, I feel him everyday and I hope you all do too. Take care of yourselves today. Daniel was a summer lover and embraced every moment he had on the water. I'm sharing some of my favorite summer memories, what are some of yours?

My favorite was when we got stranded on a motor boat and Daniel dove in the water to fix the engine and brought us back to shore - he remained calm the whole time, me not so much.

Also - can you tell he stole all of my Boston and Maine hats? He loved New England and we cherished our Maine summers.

I hope everyone takes a moment to soak in the sun today and think of our guy.

Hi friends and family,

It’s been just over 3 months since we lost the bright and vibrant light that was Daniel Zuker. The pain of missing Daniel is so strong but the memories that bubble to the surface and bring a smile to my face are stronger than the pain.

Moving forward, I’d like his instagram to be filled with his community to address our collective grief and shared beautiful memories.

Please join me in this effort so we can reflect on the incredible impact this man had on all of us.

Today, let’s reflect on some of our favorite “Danny” quotes and wisdom. I’ll go first:

“Hope is for not knowing”

Daniel was always so sure of himself - sure of his goals, his love for his people and most importantly, sure of his morals and values.
