Everyone asks me if renting is worth it and my response is always “it is to me!” I want the designers and allll the clothes and bags but can’t afford to buy at retail price; so yes, it’s worth it.

But, I think what they’re really asking is for the numbers so here is the math, with receipts.

Getting dressed doesn’t always come easy. I overthink it A LOT.

I debated what shoes to wear in the first look, what bag to carry in the second, whether or not to wear a belt with the third & the lens color of my sunnies in the last one (yes, it’s that deep).

Sometimes I think I make getting dressed look too effortless here…there’s usually some trial and error happening behind the scenes so I’ll do better to capture what I’m thinking!

The point it though…I love doing it and feel rewarded in putting it all together and feeling like *me.*

When people say “don’t buy clothes for your fantasy life” I think there needs to be an important caveat: you should RENT clothes for your fantasy life/self because you should be allowed to live and dress for whatever version of yourself you feel like that day.

I literally always dress like I have somewhere better to be.

Your fantasy life deserves outfits too. Those outfits just don’t need permanent closet space.
