I wanted to thank everyone for 700 followers😭💓🙏🏽!! I’ve barely been here a year and yet I feel truly and gratefully honoured to have so many people follow my oc Dani Kumada’s story. I am truly in both awe and shock, but at the same time it’s so wonderful that people will gladly accept Dani, a poc oc whom I’ve spent years crafting.
There are so many people that I want to thank, and tbh I literally cannot name everyone. After all, it’s the support and love that’s been endless. But regardless, I shall list off a few. For starters, I want to thank people such as @kujynx , @kircornart , @xkobayashisoulx , @morino.amaya and @_saigo.kagami_ for being like my older sisters, my mentors who have helped me throughout my time here. so many years of childhood dreams, love, friendship, lust, marriage, and now they are officially in their next step: protecting Kumogakure with all their hearts, minds, and strength. Dani remained both still and collected, smiling proudly as she stood beside her husband, the now official Fifth Raikage. Darui remained as his usual easygoing self, staring intently at the camera as the royal couple’s first official photo was taken. This portrait photo marks the beginning of what would be an extensive, yet fulfilling journey for the couple, navigating marriage, their four children, and village duties.

This is my second time commissioning Iwaki! She is a pleasant, hardworking individual and I’m happy to have commissioned her for this Boruto-era piece. This idea was put off for weeks until I finally got around to it weeks ago. Dani looks beautiful and Darui well😼…yummy hahahahaha thank you again💓🤲🏽!!! You are dearly appreciated here!!! The apple of her mother’s eye, Ayuri inherits Dani’s personality and Darui’s good looks. Alongside inheriting storm release, Darui’s black lightning is passed down to her by her father the Fifth Raikage. As a genin, she admired his calmness, loyalty, and determination. Her version of Gale Style: Black Hunting, includes a terrifying version of a moon bear, destroying anything it is jaws. Ayuri combines her black lightning with offensive Taïjutsu, using both electric waves shaped like scarves to emit attacks such as Black Hunting, Dissolve the scarves into electric nails, and create various forms of “black holes” that resemble the inner darkness (basically the last level of hell from Dante’s Inferno. Her next version, Dark Hunting can paralyze the individual to the point of a coma. When this is discovered, Dani becomes anxious for her miracle child, not wanting Ayuri to be treated as an experiment; something that Darui wants to prevent as well, working day and night with Kumada Clan members to learn more about this rare form of hunting. In her spare time, she volunteers at a hairstylist shop and loves to bake with the Kumadian elders; traditi by @danii.kumo

Dani Kumada grinned from ear to ear, watching as Hakuma Ibashi strolled into the waiting room. Both women had accompanied Darui and Gaara to yet another diplomatic meeting. Darui had promised his wife that he would begin preparations to involve more trade connections with the Sand. After all, Gaara was interested in investing more into the Kumada Clan’s precious green jade. However, he secretly hoped to use some of that jade to surprise his wife Hakuma for a pair of earrings….or perhaps a necklace.

As Darui and Gaara continued their negotiations inside, Hakuma curiously stared at Dani. Not only tall, Dani elegantly posed as a bit of sunlight caught in her hair. Her hoops brushed her cheeks as she curiously turned to Hakuma.

“I don’t bite you know.” She spoke, chuckling as Hakuma quickly adjusted her clipboard.

“Oh! I-uh! Sorry! It’s just….I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the Kumadas.” she straightened her back. “But most importantly, I really appreciate how well you’ve taken up leadership within Kumo’s mental health centers. We need more strong women-“

“Oh, but Hakuma! Even I feel truly honoured to stand by such a kindhearted soul…” Dani cut in, adjusting her bracelets. “Our men may be yapping away, but trust me, you and I shall go about our day and get to know each other more. I’d be delighted to hear more about yourself!”

Sweet, Little Blessings [Pt. III ] <3
~
The soft coos of the little ones melted Dani’s heart. Smiling down at the babies, she watched as they slept soundly, their cheeks puffing in and out as they rested against her chest. Dani and Darui had decided to do something different: wait until the day their baby had arrived. Dani could still remember each minute… the medic nins desperately looking at one another as Dani screamed in pain for the second time not long after Kenji had been delivered.

Dani felt her throat tightening as she watched each baby slightly open their babies before letting out soft yawns. Suddenly, she heard several footsteps echo down the nearby hallway. She smiled to herself. For many years, she had gotten used to the sound of his shinobi sandals gently tap the floor. The medic nins had already informed her that Darui had…fainted when he discovered that his beloved wife, childhood friend, kindred spirit, and life partner had given birth to not one…but two beautiful children. Her heart beat faster as she heard the door click open….

I was overjoyed-and still am- to have received this beautiful commission by the lovely Sora! It made my entire week🥹💓,, particularly now that I’ve been dealing with an annoyingly awful throat infection and cold :(. Dani Kumada [Coleader of the Kumada Clan, Cloud Diplomat, Mental Health advocate, Wife of the Fifth Raikage Darui]

In Kumahagi Village, you’ll see her stroll through the marketplace, smiling and greeting each citizen warmly. Kiseki and Keiji remain beside her, their eyes wide in wonder at the power of their master. She directs Kumogakure’s mental health centers, ensuring that each patient receives the best healthcare possible in a world of harmony and restoration.

As a mother, she dotes on her four children: Sophisticated Ayuri, Calm natured Ryuji, and the mischievous but lovable twins, Kenji and Takai. While they each go through their own struggles and achievements, Dani ensures that-in the midst of her responsibilities- she dotes on each child. She and Ayuri shop and buy hair accessories together. She taught Ryuji how to play the Kumadian flute. She assists Kenji with examining plants in the Kumadian greenhouses, smiling as he gently sings to the plants to make them feel both happy and alive. Lastly, she helps Takai with building a 3D model of one of Kumahagi Village’s mountains and watercolour pieces of the waterfall of truth.

For Darui, Dani is viewed as his equal. He watches her smile, laugh, and calmly watch over their household and their village. He even witnesses the nights in which she feels overwhelmed, crying her eyes out feeling like she’s still not enough. And yet, even as Raikage, Darui ensures to involve little acts- such as letting Dani sleep in to take the kids out for a walk, or treat her with a special date of their own once a month, to celebrate their love.

Kumogakure watches with pride as the once graceful and outgoing Kumadian princess becomes an integral pillar to the nation’s new era of peace and stability.

~no love lost <3 🍜👩🏽‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏾🌹💗~

Even in a world of shinobi, where tomorrow was hardly promised, Dani did her absolute best to make time for her loved ones. Prior to meeting up with Darui, Dani was used to Omoi’s lively chatter and overthinking whenever he tried to cook even a small dish for her. She smiled at the thought of Shisei watching shyly, motioning to him to sit down beside her to brush his smooth, green hair. She also reflected on the times when Mabui and Tsuyomi filled her in on the latest gossip. The three kunoichis both snorting and laughing as they clinked glasses of warm Kumadian tea.

And then there was Darui.

With him, Dani felt about a million or so butterflies that would happily dance inside her stomach. Attentive, romantic, and sweet, Darui did his best to both spoil and make sure Dani was comfortably spending a wonderful day or night with him. One of their favourite activities was to see who could slurp up the most ramen noodles. Dani giggled, watching Darui use his jonin salary to pay for both bowls, even when she tried to insist she could pay for the ramen herself. But Darui remained steadfast. Then they caught up with each other, Darui gently holding Dani’s head as he let her yap away about her adventures. Dani also listened to Darui’s words as well, commenting a few times here and there, smiling as she heard his warm chuckles followed by a small smirk or smile.

Finally, they watched each other enjoy their ramen, their lips slurping up each noodle and eating each ingredient on the ramen…almost like a competition. Dani giggled once more, letting Darui wipe her mouth with a small handkerchief, while Dani stroked his cheek with a pink-painted nail. I would feel bad for whoever was their waiter, because I would immediately feel like the third wheel.

dear diary,

Today, Kumogakure celebrated their annual couples festival. I had to be there to supervise the festivities. I know you won’t tell anyone, but seeing the other kunoichis get invited by their significant others made me feel left out. People say I sound too cheery or too optimistic when in reality, I feel this constant pressure to act perfect; to be strong for everyone even when I want to scream to the heavens about the pain I have in my heart.

But then things changed.

I was trying not to awkwardly stand there like some sort of wallflower. But then, I felt a soft touch on my hand, a few calloused fingers caressing my own. I turned, and immediately smiled. Darui, grape juice in hand, asked if I was up for a dance. He looked calm, but he kept looking away while Cee and Tsuyomi cackled in the background. But I accepted his request, and I let him take me to the dance floor. He even remembered my favourite pineapple drink and demanded that they serve me one or else he would shut down the entire bar.

We’ve been inseparable ever since. At first I always thought our worlds were different. But when we come together, we create a storm that ignites our minds….and bodies…to submit to the love we have had for one another since we were in the Academy. And I feel beautiful not just because of him, but because I learned to believe in my own qualities and acknowledge that perfectionism is unattainable, but unconditional love isn’t. It is a driving force that keeps me going, and I hope to continue through this storm of life, and continue to serve Kumo and the Kumada Clan.

OMG I’M OFFICIALLY 22!!!🥳💗⁉️

I’m so grateful and happy that I get to celebrate my first birthday here in the Naruto community with all my fellow oomfs and close friends. You all deserve the world!!!

I also wanted to thank everyone for all the love and support during my time here in this community. It’s always a huge honour to get to work with amazing artists while simultaneously making friends, chatting with mutuals, sharing lore, and telling Dani Kumada’s story! Plus, Darui and Dani are literally my OTP. I love them so so so much, and I’m happy to share their story and cannot wait to expand it further as I show more of their kids, Dani’s relationship with Omoi, MORE OMOSHI (YES KIR IM LOOKING AT YOU!) and Dani’s interactions with other shinobi and settings, including Kumogakure. It’d be challenging for me to name everyone that I’m thankful for because a lot of people helped with making me feel comfortable and willing to share my lore and my oc (soon-to-be OCs!)

I still have a lot to learn and experience, but I smile knowing that I am strong and have the support of my friends. I’ve met so many amazing people that it would be a long list to name lmfao. But you know who you are, and I’m forever grateful for you.♥️♥️♥️.
