I feel more like myself than I have in a long time. A sense of peacefulness inside of me and within my relationship with my husband and God, and work life balance feeling like it should. I don’t think I understood all the anxiety, stress, resentment, and fear I felt inside of my body over the past few years because of the fire. But I knew that I wasn’t living up to my truest self and my story felt so small compared to what others went through. I started praying to God whenever I felt overwhelmed which brought so much peace and calmness into my life.So for anyone else who has feelings that seem insignificant compared to other’s just remember that you do matter, your story matters and you don’t have to hold onto those feelings or memories, lay them down to your faith, let Jesus take them off your shoulders. I love having a husband who can do all the things 🥰We spent $150 on this entire project, so I’d say that’s a win! We weren’t going to replace the entire bathroom vanity since we’re renting, but now we have the storage and functionality we need. I wanted this Amazon pedestal sink storage cabinet to fit and work but of course it didn’t so instead of un-assembling it we just upgraded it to work for the space. Yay for fun DIY projects that work out 🫶 by @danikaarexx

The trains, the backpacks, and the exploring with my best friend never gets old 🥰 Neither of us had never been to Europe, and I’m so happy we experienced it together. Italy was on the top of my travel list to explore and I’m lucky we both agreed it would be a fun place to honeymoon! People often ask where those living in go on their vacations since we live in a vacation destination already. Let me tell you, it’s usually some place opposite of tropical, for us at least! Next on the list…. A national treasure. Planning is still in the works 🤫 by @danikaarexx

RIP to my 20’s10.20.1995 My 20’s are full of amazing memories, iconic moments and lessons learned. I experienced traveling through music, and attending more music festivals than I could’ve imagined for myself. Every genre imaginable, and seeing beautiful things in amazing places. I learned to solo travel and trust my gut when it came to situations, leaning on strangers at times and becoming friends because of it. Most people are good, and the world is better for it. I experienced heart break on many occasions. This is something that really never gets easier. Loosing my Grammy was by far one of the hardest things my soul has endured… every day I try to be like her. I moved to Hawaii when I was 22, I took the leap of faith and I’m so happy I did! This was always where I wanted to be, my obsession with Hawaii was so strong as a kid and I’m so happy I never let go of the dream. I learned to deep sea fish, going out anywhere from one to three times a week. With the best of friends and living a wild life of fishing, and diving. I survived covid times, that was more of a Summer Camp 2020 for me. I spent the whole summer with my best friend and we had the best time! Hiking, beach, lake days, arts and crafts and helping me heal through a major heartbreak. I’m forever grateful for friends like that. I met my person, and married him 4 years later. I never knew what could happen if I just opened up to life full hearted. And it was all because I went to a party I wasn’t even invited to, just tagged along too.I traveled out of the country for the first time, Guatemala was an incredible experience. New Zealand had my heart, I could actually live there. And Italy is divine with all the food and history there. I can’t wait to see more! I worked on boats as crew and as a photographer. I started my photography career snd stepped into marketing. I learned so much about running a business and holding myself accountable. Now after all these years, I’m so ready for this next era!
