GUARDIAN RISING is officially out with early readers! Actually one already finished and gave me their post-read feedback! 😱 I am finishing up my query documents and finally have enough of them squared away to share this with y'all. I plan to start querying ASAP!

I can go anywhere!

This might be cringe. But, oh well. This is something my brain did a couple years ago when I couldn't remember the rest of Pure Imagination's lyrics and it's stayed stuck in my head since.

Anyway, I hope you'll stick around and read my books once they're published!

I gotta say, having a writing partner makes being an author so much less lonely. If you don't have one, I suggest finding one or joining a writing group.

It was never really a secret. I'm not sure why we are concerned about it.

If you haven't read Alanna: The First Adventure, let this be your sign! Like my book, Guardian Rising, it has secret identities, a lady knight (in training, and no one knows she's a girl), magic, found family, young love,... and menstrual care. 😂

I can't even tell you how many times I've read this book and its sequels, but I do know that it was a foundational part of my growth as a reader, writer, and a person.

(Note: Alanna is a YA story, whereas Guardian is adult. But you should read both!)

We had the best time putting this post together! Because we live in different time zones, our work hours line up starting in the middle of Danike's day and the beginning of Meghan’s. Needless to say, it was really fun for us to see our days adjusted to line up like this! We should probably do this again sometime.

Joke's on me though, I am neither short nor healthy. And the only way I'm high is in my height.
