Life threw me lemons, then limes for good measure,
I juggled them badly—but found hidden treasure.
Each stumble, each trip, each awkward misstep,
Was secretly teaching me how to accept.

Taking the Next Step When You Can’t See the Whole Path

Sometimes what scares us about a major decision isn't what we know—it’s everything we don’t know. We want God to show us the destination, while faith often asks us to trust Him with only the next step.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

That gets directly to “we fear what we do not see.” Faith doesn't mean pretending uncertainty isn't scary. It means uncertainty doesn't get the final say.

Another powerful passage is Proverbs 3:5–6:
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Trust isn't necessarily feeling completely confident before moving. Sometimes trust looks like praying, seeking wisdom, examining what you do know, and then taking the next faithful step without demanding that God reveal steps 2–10 first.
