The Deets: “Danimal Sound is what happens when raw hip-hop grit crashes headfirst into a wall of bass and comes out glitching with future fire. He started out flipping dusty records into beats on a DAW, digging through crates and sampling whatever sounded filthy enough. But in 2013, a wild twist: his first underground bass show, rewired his system. That night lit the fuse. The mission changed: learn to throw down that hard.

By 2017, Danimal was sliding his own tracks into club sets—grimy, beat-driven, and unmistakably his. When the floor lit up during his own drop on New Year’s, it was all the validation he needed. No turning back.

Then came Burning Man 2018. One taste of that surreal desert playground, and Danimal dove headfirst into the burnerverse; exploring soundscapes, building community, and even running a 500-person regional event in upstate New York. That world unlocked something deeper: music not just for hype, but for transformation.

Danimal Sound is driven by obsessions: futurism, cyberpunk, ancient Egyptian mythos, philosophy, and the sacred art of storytelling. His sets hit hard, his sound bends genres, and his tracks are crafted to jack into your soul and leave scorch marks.”

What is up homies! We’re absolutely stoked to announce the drop of the Roadie @danimalsound ‘s forthcoming LP here on RTR! This is a journey of an LP you don’t want to sleep on! 🔥🪬

The deets: “The legend begins with the return of The Tetragon Nomad, an inter-dimensional wizard who traverses space and time to defend the universe against the forces of cosmic chaos. Marking his grand re-emergence after a long absence, the saga opens as the Nomad makes his presence known across the stars. Bound to the sacred sigil of the Driploc, an ancient emblem reflecting the celestial orbits of bound planetary bodies, he steps back into our realm to re-establish order, rallying his ancient powers and declaring his return to the cosmos.

However, during the Nomad’s long absence, a primordial madness has crept out from the deep darkness to threaten reality itself. Drawing upon the sacred wisdom of the ancients, the Nomad engages this creeping malevolence in a series of titanic battles. Scorched beneath the burning light of Khepri’s Sun and tested in fierce back-and-forth combat, our hero faces near-defeat before undergoing a sacred metamorphosis under the protective sign of Horus’s dragonfly. Restored with divine authority and healing energy, the Nomad rises reborn, ready to bring the fight to a decisive climax. As the final showdown arrives, the Nomad abandons all restraint to wage an all-out war against the forces of chaos.

Unleashing raw, aggressive power in an epic duel, he overpowers the dark entity and seals the madness away once and for all. With harmony restored to the cosmos, the Nomad’s duty in this realm is finished, calling him back to his sanctuary outside space and time, forever watchful, and ready to return whenever universe-threatening chaos arises again.”

What is a Cypher? A Cypher comes from Hip-Hop culture where you have a group of MCs get down on a beat together in a free form, free flowing playing style, passing the Mic or Mics, creating a tune around the theme and underlying bones of the beat! In the same spirit the Cyphers here at RTR is the producer version of this but instead of a beat, we have a theme for everyone to create within!🎤🎧

These are beats that are all about that chungus rolling bass line and drum kit, the ones that come in and you just see that crowd become a writhing mass of wiggles as the spirit of the chungus gets deep up their booty hole and causes them to turn create shapes that they didn’t even know their bodies could move into!😵‍💫🕺

A Cypher comes from Hip-Hop culture where you have a group of MCs get down on a beat together in a free form, free flowing playing style, passing the Mic or Mics, creating a tune around the theme and underlying bones of the beat! In the same spirit the Cyphers here at RTR is the producer version of this but instead of a beat, we have a theme for everyone to create within!😤🚀

The theme for this Cypher is Wook Priestess Thirst Trap! All the producers who participated in this Cypher were given the challenge to create a bass tunes within this theme: These tunes are the sounds of a wook sliding into TLC’s DMs after the afterparty, blending raw, yearning R&B vibes over bass so deep it feels like a physical craving! 🌊🪬

The theme for this Cypher is Wook Summoners! All the producers who participated in this Cypher were given the challenge to create a bass tune that summon the Wooks to the holy festival temple and transform this most holy of ground into the Animal House!!

The roadies have rocked out into the galactic center following alien signals for this from the Cyphers challenge and have landed back as completely transformed spunions upgraded with the deep knowledge of the galactic deep!🪬

A Cypher comes from Hip-Hop culture where you have a group of MCs get down on a beat together in a free form, free flowing playing style, passing the Mic or Mics, creating a tune around the theme and underlying bones of the beat! In the same spirit the Cyphers here at RTR is the producer version of this but instead of a beat, we have a theme for everyone to create within!

The theme for this Cypher is Aliens and Beatz! All the producers who participated in this Cypher were given the challenge to create a bass tune that summon UFOs from deep space to pick up spunions and drop them off completely dazed, confused and ready to start a cargo cult! The tune had to had to have no human vocals or organic tones within them. They had to all sound like they came from deep space! 👽

Yo homies! Up next on the road trip to Cypher 002: Cryptids our next pit stop takes us to a track preview from the Roadie @danimalsound with his forthcoming tune So Below They Reigned!

Deep inside the desert interior of the nubian desert, Danimal Sound had finally tracked down the ancient ruins. His plumbing into the back networks of cyberspace whispered during his deep dives through his various terminals and cyberdecks of information packets pointing to an ancient seemingly forgotten egyptian ruin lost to the shifting sands of the nubian desert. Having finally landed with his pack, decks and tech in hand he began his descent into the beginning reaches of the ruin itself. Upon getting deeper he witnessed the hieroglyphs begin to become more and more, fluid, changing out of the corner of his eyes at times only to change back upon inspection. Coming to the first antechamber of the ruins which seemed to sprawl further into the shifting sands he witnessed a statue that was out of place. It seem Osirion at first but the head seemed, alien, sporting a cephelapodic structure beneath the normal decorations of wraps of the dead god. What is the true meaning of this ruin? Where the rumors from cyberspace true? Merely conjecture? Stay tuned as we continue of this road trip to discovering this latest Cryptid! 🌀
