Yo what’s good Homies! We’re absolutely stoked to announce the drop of our eighth Cypher here at RTR! The crew has brought some serious, floor-shaking heat for this Cypher challenge! 🔥🔊 What is a Cypher? A Cypher comes from Hip-Hop culture where you have a group of MCs get down on a beat together in a free form, free flowing playing style, passing the Mic or Mics, creating a tune around the theme and underlying bones of the beat! In the same spirit the Cyphers here at RTR is the producer version of this but instead of a beat, we have a theme for everyone to create within!🎤🎧 This cypher is all about celebrating the absolute peak of human absurdity. We’ve raided the archives for the most brain-melting, “did they really just say that?” news clips and strapped them into a high-speed Drum and Bass centrifuge. Expect high-octane breakbeats colliding with pure broadcast stupidity. It’s the kind of sonic chaos that hits the 174 BPM mark and turns the dancefloor into a collective fever dream of “WTF” energy. When these tracks drop, the crowd loses their last two brain cells to the rhythm, vibrating in total sync with the glorious nonsense of the 24-hour news cycle!🎤 🎤 The Roadies: @_tiqk @symochimusic @sweetspotedm @dr.uggist Dialogic @nyktrn The Cypher Head: @mrdjshadowstar The cypher is now out on all platforms! What is up homies! We’re absolutely stoked to announce the drop of the Roadie @danimalsound ‘s forthcoming LP here on RTR! This is a journey of an LP you don’t want to sleep on! 🔥🪬 The deets: “The legend begins with the return of The Tetragon Nomad, an inter-dimensional wizard who traverses space and time to defend the universe against the forces of cosmic chaos. Marking his grand re-emergence after a long absence, the saga opens as the Nomad makes his presence known across the stars. Bound to the sacred sigil of the Driploc, an ancient emblem reflecting the celestial orbits of bound planetary bodies, he steps back into our realm to re-establish order, rallying his ancient powers and declaring his return to the cosmos. However, during the Nomad’s long absence, a primordial madness has crept out from the deep darkness to threaten reality itself. Drawing upon the sacred wisdom of the ancients, the Nomad engages this creeping malevolence in a series of titanic battles. Scorched beneath the burning light of Khepri’s Sun and tested in fierce back-and-forth combat, our hero faces near-defeat before undergoing a sacred metamorphosis under the protective sign of Horus’s dragonfly. Restored with divine authority and healing energy, the Nomad rises reborn, ready to bring the fight to a decisive climax. As the final showdown arrives, the Nomad abandons all restraint to wage an all-out war against the forces of chaos. Unleashing raw, aggressive power in an epic duel, he overpowers the dark entity and seals the madness away once and for all. With harmony restored to the cosmos, the Nomad’s duty in this realm is finished, calling him back to his sanctuary outside space and time, forever watchful, and ready to return whenever universe-threatening chaos arises again.” This epic journey is now out in all platforms! What up homies, time for the next stop. First, a massive thank you to everyone who streamed @thatsvinnyboi ‘s debut RTR release, the support on ‘Reaching was huge! 🪬🤙 Today, we keep moving. We’re stoked to unleash a massive new collab. @nyktrn and @_tiqk — Liminal EP. You get caught in the middle. Heavy, resonant melodies pull you under, only to tear apart against raw, glitchy distortion. Synths warp and bend out of tune. The drums hit like failing machinery in a dark room. It is the exact space where melodic weight meets grinding, atonal grit. Enter the void. Hit the link in our bio. 🔊🌌 taken in The Pacific Northwest by @roadtrippingrecords

Yo yoooo homies! From crew here at RTR to everyone who rocked through for the Roadie @bass_sqwurl ‘s latest adventure in his dungeon delving bardic saga, thank you! 🙏 Y’all came out in force! 🔥🤘😤 Next up we’re to announce the a drop from our latest Roadie to join the crew @joshthebear with his forth coming EP Bears Trippin in Tokyo! Its time to get deep into a trippin’ ramen bass shop! ✨🤘 The Vibe: “Yo, picture this: Our homie JoshthebeaR is on a road trip and slides into Tokyo. It’s 3 AM, and the munchies are hitting heavy. He stumbles into a ramen shop, and in the back, a band is laying down some grimy Urban Jazz. He orders the special, that glowing Kitty Tang (Track 2) he’s seen advertised all over the city. He takes one sip, and the whole spot starts to melt. The jazz gets trippy, the bass gets thick, and things get psychedelic. Just as the trip gets wild, a steaming hot bowl of ramen hits the table. He digs in, and the sounds start getting weird. He hears engines roaring, street racers drifting right outside. “Yo, what is that?!” The waiter just smiles. “TOKYO TRIPTIN, man.” A bit later, the waiter comes back. “YO, RAMEN?” But JoshtheeaR is gone. He’s so far down the rabbit hole, eyes glazed, just locked in—vibing to the sensations, the ramen, and that vibin’, deep Bass Music.“ Now out on all platforms! Yo yooooo homies! Its time for all of us to go on an adventure deep into the bass dungeons with the homie @bass_sqwurl latest tune now out on all platforms! This one is coming in thick and heavy with deep bass magic! ✨🤘🪬 The Deets: Deep in the Dungeons, SQWURL stumbled into a suspicious room filled with ornate furniture, dusty bookshelves, and a treasure chest that looked a little too tempting. Sensing a trap, he remembered a spell an old bard named Tumbletongue had taught him earlier — Vicious Mockery, a cantrip that lets your words cut like blades. With a mischievous grin, SQWURL called out into the room: “You crusty Ikea rejects think you can out-sneak me?” Suddenly, a chest twitched. Then a stool hissed. One by one, the Mimics started revealing themselves, squirming under the weight of his brutal insults. With razor-sharp wit and unmatched sass, SQWURL roasted each Mimic into submission: “You look like a couch that got rejected from a flea market!” and “I’ve seen scarier stools in tavern bathrooms!” Unable to handle the psychic damage from his mockery, the Mimics hissed, shrieked, and slithered back into the cracks they came from. Victorious and untouched, SQWURL stood tall in the silent room, tail flicking with pride. From that day on, the Mimics whispered among themselves, warning of the squirrel-bard whose words could cut deeper than blades. What is up homies! We’re stoked to announce the drop of the Roadie @nyktrne ‘s forth coming EP Tessellation on all platforms! This one is coming in from the depths of the the dividing lines between order and chaos with a journey to remember! ✨🤘 The Vibe: “Tessellation” explores the balance between order and entropy, cohesion and chaos. It follows the pendulum swing that sustains harmony until it swings too far, and the cycle turns inward to consume itself. Moments of stillness give way to motion, clarity blurs into distortion, and fragments gather to rebuild what was undone. It moves through tension and release, intensity and surrender, each passage a step deeper into transformation. The music rises from shadow, expands toward light, and folds back into itself. At its heart lies the ouroboros, the endless loop of rise, decay, and rebirth that threads through everything. Played in order the story unfolds as a single evolving journey, best experienced with gapless playback. Tessellation opens rising from the ashes, darkness still lurking in the shadows. Aether ascends, grounded yet reaching. Ouroboros turns inward, looping through emotion and energy. Fragmentation closes in heavy, deliberate motion, slow, immense, and cleansing, where everything fractures so that everything can begin again. “ Now out on all platforms, tap the link in the bio for the deets! 🔥🤘 taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @roadtrippingrecords
