Words cannot describe the feeling of loss and grief… I still feel like you will come in the front door and say ‘alright Doodles’.

As mum keeps saying, we reached our fun quota, and gosh did we have fun! So many happy memories of lots of holidays, silly games, old movies along with many other adventures.

I am so thankful that you were able to walk me down the aisle only a few weeks ago, and you looked amazing in your hat (everyone kept saying how cool you looked)!

Thank you for being my dad, you were the best dad a girl could ask for (even if we are so similar that arguments were bound to happen).

What I take comfort in is the fact you are no longer in any pain, and that you passed peacefully in the end.

Ever wondered what actually goes into filming a wedding day?

At @thedreys , it’s not just turning up with a camera and pressing record. From the morning preparations right through to the dance floor, every part of the day is carefully documented to tell the full story.

For this wedding, the couple chose our Alani Package, which includes aerial drone footage and personal interviews woven throughout the film, adding an extra layer of emotion and storytelling to their wedding memories.

The day included bridal prep, groom prep, drone coverage of the stunning venue and surrounding countryside, multi camera ceremony filming, crystal clear audio for vows and speeches, drinks reception, room details, couple portraits, cake cutting, first dance and all the celebrations that followed.

I capture the day naturally, authentically and without making it FEEL like a production. Just real moments, real emotions and a wedding film that takes you straight back to how it felt.

To say I had the best Hen do with this amazing bunch is an understatement… so much fun, so many laughs, too many drinks, a few tears and me stacking it in heels down cobbled streets.
