We finished a bedroom! I had two big goals for this room: 1. Test our plaster skills after learning from the *best* teachers @jerseyicecreamco 2. Design a full wall of closet and storage space and make it attractive thanks to @semihandmade
Very grateful to @petefjo for leaping into all of these projects with me… from breaking out scales to measure pigments so we could make the *exact* plaster color I had in mind, to piecing together old light fixtures and adding button switches.
And to @handyblackcc for expertly installing trim I had milled to match what was originally there, make the most beautiful walnut desk, and build cabinet bases when ikeas supply chain didn’t cooperate 🤍 taken in South Philadelphia by @danipalencar

Did our hearts grow this past week… Your story didn’t have the start we expected, one of the many lessons you’ll teach us, and I can’t wait to learn them all.

We feel beyond lucky to get to introduce you to all of the beautiful things, places, people, food, dogs... But most of all, the family and chosen family that kept your mom and dad afloat this week.
