I’ve been deciding for a while whether or not to post this.

Mark is very private when it comes to social media. You rarely see his face around here. But I’m only a day away from my last chemo and the emotions of this night have softened as we’ve grown used to my bald head.

This wasn’t easy for him to do, to shave his wife’s head. He knows I was dreading this moment. But he sat me down, made me laugh, and made me feel beautiful on one of my hardest nights.

Mark has done so much for me throughout this journey, our journey, but this night will always stick with me. I can see the beauty in it and the love. And all I can do is say thank you.

Apparently my hair was holding onto mineral, metal + chlorine buildup that I didn’t even know was there 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I added one small step before I shampoo.

I spray the new @the.silverist Clarity Reset Demineralizer Pre-Shampoo on dry hair, leave it on for 3 minutes, then follow with my regular Silverist routine. My salt-and-pepper hair has been feeling softer, looking brighter + just overall fresher without feeling stripped or dry. ✨🩶

At 53, if foundation makes my lines and texture stand out more, I’m not interested ✌🏼
