I think I’m starting a new little journey of figuring out how to actually enjoy my life without constantly reaching for my phone.

Not deleting Instagram. Not becoming a person who suddenly loves waking up at 5am to meditate 😂

Just finding more things that make me want to put my phone down.

So… day 1 of finding hobbies that are actually fun.

First up: making gemmed bookmarks for $7 from Kmart and finally breaking my lifelong habit of folding the corners of my books.

Apparently all it takes is one box of Funky Food and I’m suddenly pretending I’m Martha Stewart 😂

My kids are grazers, so I put the box to the test and made potato, broccoli, bacon & cheese bites, sweet potato waffles and apple & banana muffins… with plenty of fruit and veggies left over for the week.

And the best part? This is the perfectly good produce that supermarkets didn’t want to sell because it’s a little bit funky.

Their loss, our win 🙌🏼

My day with @bhumi_organic_cotton
First we got dressed and accessories the Bhumi all natural T-shirt with a brooch 👌🏻

School interview on a weekend, who even is she! In full mum mode today 🤭

Treating the kids to sushi they have been so good today! I think the weather has us loving the fresh air 🌱

Then a treat for mum of course, along with a matcha 🍵

Then we were so early for my hair appointment we did some op shopping at Savers, this truly is a good day 🙏🏼

Last but not least, my hair has been revived by the best!

Apparently being “authentic” is now an aesthetic too…

So here’s my hot take: kinda chic to just be a normal person who happens to make content.

Not everything needs a filter, a perfect outfit, a spotless house or a carefully curated “real life” moment.

Sometimes the content is polished. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic. Sometimes I look like I’ve had 4 hours sleep.

UGC, but make it actually feel like real life.
