Back 2 Back Champion 🏆

A ridiculous weekend of bad weather and testing conditions but, very pleased with how I played for 36 this weekend. 4 days straight of back to back events and Medal golf has definitely taken its toll now though.

Scores of 71/72 (-1) 🏆

Massive thank you to my team as always @_resolutehealth for their on going support.

To my coach @andy_thorne who without him none of this would be doable. The hours and time he gives me, is very much appreciated Thank you mate 🙏🏼

All the hours of practice and training paying off and momentum is building each week! Feeling ready for the next challenge and chapters ahead playing the greatest game ever 🏌️‍♂️

Massive thanks to all the boys at the club for the support not just this week but every week, it means a lot 🙌!

On to the next one………

Surrey County Champion 2025 🏆

This one feels pretty sweet! Hard graft but winning events makes it all worth while. 71/75 to get into the play off and managed to birdie the first hole to get into the matchplay for the weekend with the last 16.

100+ holes of golf in 3 days is quite a lot 😂

Massive thanks to everyone who came out to support and help from @surreygolf and also @coombehillgolfclub for delivering a mega course for the event!

Lastly huge thanks to @andy_thorne who has helped me develop year on year with my game, all them hours hitting balls finally paying off 🙏🏼. @louissavillgolf for the short game tune ups @_resolutehealth for keeping the body injury free and @gregbrodiegolf 👊🏻

Looking forward to the next one…! taken in Coombe Hill Golf Club by @danmagee_golf

How to practice Line & Pace for Putting 🧠

This is my go to drill

6-9-12ft putt @ 1-3% slope

Complete twice through for R/L and then switch L/R and repeat.

How many can you hole or leave behind the hole. Guranteed to improve your putting 👊🏻

Surrey Champions 🏆

You just can’t beat Team format in golf!

Personally 3 down thru 8 wasn’t ideal but an eagle at 9 and a 5 birdie streak run in the back 9 to get the half was a decent fight back!

2.5 - 2.5 forcing a play off!

Sudden deaths, play offs are moments you live for as a golfer and to be able to Birdie the first hole for the team and get Hindhead over the line for their 5th Championship and my first one was the Perfect way to end the UK season 👊🏻

Pace Putting is 🔑

For most players hitting it close is a rare thing, so how can you improve your scoring.

Pace putting:

1. Setup a gate for both putter & ball

2. Measure out a 30ft putt

3. Measure out a 20 inch back stroke and place a tee down

4. Now focus on hitting 10 putts inside 3ft of the hole without hitting the start gate.

The key 🔑

The best players are the ones with minimal thoughts 💭

Do your swing work in the week and work on your technicals, that’s what practice sessions and rounds are for.

Once you get to your tournament, it’s all about swinging with freedom. Your warm up, is literally a warm up. It’s not a 50 ball practice session.

Learn to Separate practice from performance 👊🏻

Balance Drill 🤸‍♂️

I’ve always struggled with tipping forward into my toe and being a little Heel bias in my strikes. This drill here is a great way to help improve that.

Alignment stick under the balls of your feet, 70-80-90% swings, feel the difference.
