‼️ I am absolutely elated to announce that I’m closing for my all-time favorites Above & Beyond on June 24th! ‼️

This show is incredibly special because we are celebrating Pride and the LBGTQIA+ community with this special event. 💙❤️💛💚

The first track I heard from them was Satellite (Oceanlab) back in 2004 and it was the beginning of my love for dance music. I played that track on repeat, to the point of exhaustion from my loved ones.

In 2017, seeing the boys play at @electriczoony with my friends, Sun & Moon playing in the downpour and I felt so moved and seen by that moment as everyone around me, including strangers, just reveled in the present. This incepted the thought that I want to bring that level of emotion and inspire people the same way I felt in that moment.

Fast forward to 2020, going through a lot of personal struggles, I started producing music after all of my friends pitched in to buy me Ableton. I had already been DJ’ing, but producing was an entire new journey. Above & Beyond has inspired my musical journey, my mental health, my healing, and my drive to bring the same emotion and feeling to people.

I discovered @spencerbrownofficial back in 2018 when he opened for Above & Beyond at the Roxy in Atlanta. His story of being a fan of A&B and then becoming one of their most beloved really inspires me. He takes hours out of his busy week to give fellow producers feedback on Twitch and he even showed us his production processes.

A loved one once told me, “That’s going to be you some day,” and part of me didn’t believe it and yet, here I am. Sometimes I give too much power to fear, but lately I’ve been choosing happiness and not letting fear be in the driver’s seat.

My lil Hazel (aka button, basil, seal, bread loaf) joined Safi up in doggo heaven this weekend. We got her at 6 weeks old. We were also tricked. We thought we were getting a Husky/Lab. We ended up with a Husky/Corgi… lmfao. And it couldn’t have been a better fit. She was sick when we got her and she had chronic issues throughout life. But her spirit was high. Not only did she pierce the heart of everyone who came in contact with her, she was a ball of joy to be around. She was a derp, a quirk, and had a bright personality (once she got to know you). She enjoyed hiking, farms, and chasing animals 😂. We thought she’d never outlive Safi, who was a year older. Yet, she hung on until she was 14.5 years old. She battled cancer for 9 months when we thought she’d only last 3. What a fighter. Thank you my lil button for 14.5 years of joy, and for all the lives you touched! ❤️ by @danmilesmusic

It’s not every day you get to resurface and say you’ve got a release coming with one of your best brothers @danmilesmusic . This Friday, our collab “Lemme Catch My Breath” drops on @vanditalternative. 🎧🎵

What started as a random jam session in a Brooklyn apartment turned into one of my favorite progressive records we’ve made — a track that’s quietly rocked dance floors as an ID for a while now. It blends the artists we grew up on with the styles we’ve each evolved into. Familiar, but fully ours.

And @danmilesmusic .... who would’ve thought a random night at a bar before a show many years ago would turn into this kind of friendship? A brother who’s seen the highs, the lows, the ugly middle, and the wins. Grateful doesn’t even cover it.

I’ve been in a season of stepping back, exploring new sounds, and building differently. So it feels special to have something like this coming out into the world — a reminder of where I started, and the people who’ve been part of the journey.

Better late than never! The annual pilgrimage was one for the books!!

I was pretty sure I wouldn’t make it to Groove Cruise this year. My stepdad passed a week prior. Very grateful for Lin, my friends, and my mom who encouraged me to just go and have fun. GC was much needed therapy.

That said, Groove Cruise has been and continues to be a life changing experience! The staff and crew, the people, and everything in between.

My partner in crime gained her angel wings on 11/3. Today would’ve been her 15th birthday. She was by my side since she was 6 weeks old and my nearly my entire adult life. Safi “Sapphire” was filled with joy, loved the snow, and couldn’t resist food. She taught me so much and I’ll miss the hell out of her! 🥺😢 I’m grateful that so many important friends in my life were able to say goodbye to her within the past few weeks. I love you Safi!! by @danmilesmusic
