The moment I laid eyes on @margeblackmantt in real life, I started crying… and I wasn’t expecting it. They were tears of pure joy.

There are some people who don’t just represent culture, they carry its history, its rhythm, its resilience, and its soul. Marge is one of those people. A powerful force from the historic depths of (the belly of) Trinidad & Tobago whose artistry and presence continue to remind us just how rich our inheritance really is.

Thank you, Marge, for inspiring generations, including me. Some legends you admire. Others make you feel where you come from. 🇹🇹 🪶 taken in Tobago by @dannidavinchi

Proud does not begin to cover it. 🇹🇹

Trinidad showed up last night. Blessed are the hands of the designers behind these looks - bringing Caribbean art and fashion to Brooklyn in the most powerful way for @thelosttribe presentation at NYFW.

@instaval_tt your hands and direction are truly gifted. Your light is incredible - such an honor to witness your journey from the start. And thank you to @iamnicolegrimes for holding and thriving in this space for the Caribbean with every event you curate. And to the models who brought every look to life on that runway.

This felt like a little piece of home 🏝️#onepeople

To the @wistyletings team, vendors and panel - this was so much more than a runway show. Grateful to be apart of it. 📸 @dannidavinchi by @dannidavinchi

I’m honored to share that Envisioned Events by Suzette has been recognized by @peerspace as one of the "Top 5 Party Planners in Brooklyn" for 2026!

**(Click the link in the bio for the full write up)**

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it reflects the work I have been committed to from the very beginning: creating thoughtful, beautifully executed celebrations where every detail has purpose and every client feels genuinely cared for.

Every wedding, milestone celebration, corporate event, and special occasion entrusted to me is an opportunity to create an experience that feels personal, intentional, and memorable.

I’m grateful to every client who has trusted me with their important moments, every creative partner and vendor who has worked alongside me, and everyone who has recommended, referred, supported, and championed Envisioned Events by Suzette along the way.

Thank you, Peerspace, for this wonderful recognition.

Here’s to continuing to create exceptional experiences in Brooklyn, throughout New York and beyond.
