Every Star in Rockingham County - @dogwoodtales I’m on tour with Dogwood Tales, so I finally have a chance to share about this album more than a month late. I am so tremendously proud of this album and everyone involved. It is our best work and feels true to us. We started the session by converting my garage into a usable recording space. This would be the first phase of Soundcheck Infinity. Just to be clear, the song name came before the studio name. Thanks to Jake, Kyle, Ben, and Stephen for the construction help. Produced by @erikkaseromero Engineered by Erik and me Mixed/mastered by me by @danny_gibney
I’ve been hesitant to make this post because I know how painful infertility is and how something so joyful can cause pain for some.. so TW: pregnancy announcement. Our family is soon to be a family of 4. After going through a long IVF process and getting one precious embryo, I am now a little over 11 weeks pregnant, ready to welcome a baby in February. I’m still in disbelief that IVF worked for us. I know nothing is guaranteed, but I am holding onto this joy of being pregnant and growing my family. I can’t wait to meet this baby! by @danny_gibney

One month ago today,@katreeenz and I got married and it was a perfect day :) I’m so grateful that so many of our friends contributed to make it such a special day. It’s honestly insane how gracious and talented our community is. I’ve been super fortunate to have worked on a lot of cool music the past year. Did this all while building out a new studio with the help from some dear friends. Very stoked to start sharing some of these projects and to show the new space. 📸: @palmyratheband while tracking their debut album last year at @montrose__east by @danny_gibney

Happy birthday to the queen, my true love, @katreeenz . She is the best mom, friend, partner, supporter, and pickle baller I know. No one strives to make every day fun like her. I’m so lucky to have her in my life ❤️❤️ by @danny_gibney
Ostraca - Disaster It was my absolute privilege to record/mix/master this masterpiece of an album. I saw @ostracaband for the first time in 2015 and I was absolutely speechless. It’s very special for me to have worked on their music now. Crazy to think this is the first truly heavy album I have worked on. I really tried to bring a distinct approach to the engineering. I hope others can hear the uniqueness. “Heaven is Still” is probably my favorite mix to date. Please take a listen! 📸: @jakegoli by @danny_gibney
Lazim Alshams by Nabeel is out today. This is such a special song that I have been impatiently waiting to be released. The bulk of this song was recorded live with no edits: @thearabsheriff on guitar/vocals, @jakegoli on guitar, @kylegrim123 on bass, and me on drums. Yasir is a gem of a songwriter and I’m so lucky to get to work with him. Produced/Recorded/mixed/mastered/drums by me. 📸: @larrydavidsglasses and @jonfurson by @danny_gibney
A couple weeks ago @dogwoodtales released the vinyl for our EPs “Rodeo” and “13 Summers 13 Falls”. I’m so proud of the work we put into this release. These are some of my favorite mixes I have done and I feel like I gained a new level of confidence from mixing them. Be sure to take a listen! I’ve never really advertised my business but if you are interested in having me mix your song, don’t hesitate to send me a message! PC: @larrydavidsglasses and @friendlycityfoodie by @danny_gibney
The day is here, @illiteratelight “Sunburned” is out! What a journey! From those early writing sessions at Lake Louisa, to recording at Montrose, and finishing up vocals in Hburg. A lot of love went into this album. Thanks Jeff and Jake for letting me be a part of this. @adrianolsen.mp3 and @spalds thanks for teaching me so much. Engineer, Assistant Engineer, and Co-Write on “Closer. 📸: @joey_wharton by @danny_gibney
