We said our final goodbyes to Matilda this weekend.

Matilda, Toodie, Toods, Tilda—thank you for everything you’ve taught me. I’m more patient & caring & gentle because of you. I’m a better dad to Olive because you were my first daughter.

It got hard towards the end when you lost your sight & hearing. You were hurting bad but wanted to hang on a bit longer like the strong girl you are.

You’re free now. To the best hiking buddy & long walks extraordinaire—rest in peace bb girl. by @danny_le

I recently lost 90% hearing in my left ear. My right ear still got 50% left 😉.

I’ve struggled with hearing most of my life—probably since birth. Unfortunately, I only realized this later in life when i first lost most of my hearing in 2017.

The best gift my dad ever gave me was his appreciation for music. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for music. So it’s been devastating to say the least but I’m good now.

I’m going to hear again if this implant thing works out. 🤞🏼 by @danny_le

yesterday was epic! i got to see the sunrise and sunset on my bike.

started the morning riding with Olive and the @atlantabikebus to school then ended the day with one of the biggest critical mass i've ever been on.

bummed I didn't see any costumes but I'll see plenty next week at dragon con!
