Mi Pachis, te amo con todo mi corazón. Te voy a extrañar por el resto de mi vida. En verdad no sé cómo voy a hacer esto sin ti.

Tú eres la calma en mi vida. Fuiste el papá que Dios nunca me dio. Eres mi piedra, mi fuerza.

Siempre me hiciste feliz. Siempre me apoyaste cuando nadie más quería o podía. En esta vida no soy Daniel sin Pachis. Nadie en mi familia está donde está sin tu amor y tu apoyo. Fuiste un papá para mi mamá y para mis hermanos.

On the real… super proud of myself. I don’t say it often but I’m gonna go ahead and give myself this one. 7 weeks ago exactly I suffered from a grade 2 tear in my Biceps femoris (hamstring). I had an initial goal of a sub 1:45, this turned it into a “let’s see if we can finish” but to come out and smash a 1:51:26 and place 3rd in my age group, shows that hard work does pay off. Cheers to all of the people that have reached out and supported me throughout this entire recovery. Also massive shout out to @kendra.odegard @caro.moreland and @marcelooo.h for helping me during this race. Love you all so much, now we go sub 3:30 in January 🤘🏼 by @danny_waves
