I am so proud of the woman you are. You inspire so many people every day with your strength, kindness, and heart. Watching the way you love others, pursue your goals, and carry yourself makes me want to be the best version of myself.
You are my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my favorite person to do life with. I am so grateful for every memory we’ve made and every adventure still ahead of us.

I’ve been in ministry since I was a little girl. I have seen people come & go. I’ve been hurt by church people & I’ve hurt people.
God has placed me in different positions & taught me so much about how He works through people & sometimes just for a season.

For a long time, I was part of an organization that favored being perfect. You climbed a ladder. Unspoken, the higher the pedestal the better the Christian. They had me on a pedestal. They made comments about respecting the janitor but the janitor was still lower than them.
The better you are the better example you are. Put off the negative about yourself, act like it’s not there & work to be better. Put that stuff over there & deal with it on your own time with the pastor or between you & God.

The last 10 years I’ve been a part of Crosspointe Church, I’ve learned how wrong that is, humility & the ability to name your brokenness are truly the most humble & powerful things you can do. God sees my brokenness the same as yours. We are the church, not just this place or the people God has running it.

I’ve been hurt by people here too & I have learned that God uses all of it. It is an honor to be spent for His glory.

Where do you want me God? How can you use me today? Sometimes it is painful & God will place you just where he needs that testimony. We have to stop hiding the thing we struggle with. We are robbing ourselves of what God has for us. It breeds shame & builds walls.
Break it down for His glory.

I sat here reviewing our service from yesterday & was so grateful. This is my team and I know them. We know each other’s brokenness & I love to see God push it all out of the way & sometimes highlight it to do His work because of humility & surrender.
He constantly removes & rebuilds. There’s no spotlight on one person. We work & play skillfully. We have a very talented & surrendered team. Genuinely, everyone is a vital part of it from the person running the camera/lights/audio to the person on stage with the title attached to their picture. We are all broken & being used.
I’m so grateful for this life! It’s an honor to serve & receive with this crew. God, I am so grateful for you 🙌🏼
