Back in the room. 🖤

Been quiet on releases, loud in the studio. Something’s coming been in here building it piece by piece, and I’m not stopping this time. Stay tuned. 👀🔊

Back in the lab after a long stretch of staying locked in at @beatzkut.

“When You Think About Me” is one of the records I’ve been building for the summer warm, soulful, emotional, and made to move. That late-night energy, open-air feeling, and the kind of groove that stays with you.

Coming soon.

There’s nothing like summer in the city. And this summer, we kick it off right. “We got us”, in these times that really seems like what it is.

This Sunday June 7th (…6/7 🤦🏿‍♂️ ) We’re gonna be outside at the Goodlife garden doing what we do. Us the people celebrating us the people.

Tuesday’s I pull a record from the crates for alignment.

Not for nostalgia.
For perspective.

Before playlists.
Before algorithms.

There were records that moved people.

This week’s vinyl:

Stevie B - In My Eyes (1989)

Brooklyn roots.
Global mindset.

Every Tuesday I pull a record from the crates for alignment.

Not for nostalgia.

For perspective.

This week takes it back to one of the records that helped change music forever.

Before hip-hop became what it is today… there were records that opened doors.

This one helped build the foundation.

This week’s vinyl:

Sugarhill Gang – Rapper’s Delight (1979)

Respect the roots.

Brooklyn roots.
Global mindset.

There’s nothing like summer in the city… and this summer, we kick it off the right way.

“We got us.” In times like these, that phrase feels more real than ever. Community, music, food, energy — all in one space with the people.

We’re bringing it outside to the Goodlife Garden for an afternoon of culture, connection, and celebration. Just us being us.

On the decks:

@brooklynterryef

On the grill:
Naeem @gold_gdx 🍗🔥

Pull up, vibe out, and start the summer with us. 💿🎶

This one is called “When the Drums Call Me.”

I gave it that title because this feels like a new chapter in my producing life.

I’ve still been dropping music, but since August 2025 I’ve been taking a step back to really lock in on the piano. Months of lessons, practice, and actually understanding what I’m playing.

This instrumental is the first one where I can really hear that growth the chords, the movement, the intention behind it.

This track marks everything I’ve been building this winter.

Now I’m excited… found the right singer for this one and I can’t wait to share the finished song with you guys.

Still in the lab, still evolving. 🎹🥁
