The new Sherwood spot just dropped. It’s always so much fun getting to skate with these guys. @quintonbyfield was a blast to work with. Thanks to @madebyplot and @dima.shorin for having me out!

These are some of the best BTS photos that someone has taken of me doing this kind of skate cam work. I had an absolute blast skating around last week with a killer team.

Thanks for the great pics @alancerteza

Just got these from a shoot last month. September has a huge amount of hockey. It’s always so fun to get up crazy early and hit the ice. Always looking to collaborate with creatives whether it’s ice or dry land. @societyofcameraoperators @lakings @filmmakaz @filmcrewmagazine taken in Los Angeles, California by @dannyisok

One year ago I had the pleasure or working on one of the coolest projects yet. I DP’d 2nd unit for a Dutch commercial on the frozen lakes of Alaska. Such a beautiful state!

It’s been a tough few years, but we’re learning to cherish the awesome moments of our industry that are unlike any others.

Man it’s been a while since I’ve thought of myself as a DP. I’ve been enjoying my time as an operator it kind of got away from me. In all honestly, with Steadicam, skate cam and just regular ole operating I didn’t feel the need to chase DP work. I’ve been really enjoying my creative collaborations as just an operator for some great DPs. However, watching some of these projects sent me down memory lane with some great directors as well. Maybe I try and chase some of those again😜.

Found another piece of BTS from Lady Hawks! The short film shot by @sadendya directed by @whitneyg_houser

Even when I look at this the backpack seems incredibly heavy, although it is, it’s not as bad as it looks. The @sonycine Rialto Mini makes a huge difference in being able to hold the weight in front of my body like this.

Thank you @saraifilms2 for capturing this. I promise that’s not what my face usually looks like.

Just before the New Year I operated on a commercial in New Jersey shot by @richhamadp for @rwjbarnabas_health

Just moments ago Jack scored the game winner breaking the 46 year drought for USA. I feel incredibly lucky when I get to skate with these amazing athletes. This Olympic season of commercials was an absolute blast and taking home the gold feels full circle. Atta bois and gals on your victory.

Another year! Was it good? Bad? Hard to tell these days, but I know I’m grateful for every minute of it. This year I learned to cherish the things I have and the friends and family I get to be with. This year had a handful of ups and there’s so many people I’m grateful for. Some of them are posted here, but there’s many others that may not have had their photo snapped. I’m grateful for you too.

There’s was lots of skating this year and operating amongst some great people. I even shot some second unit for a fairly big movie😉. Thank you to everyone who got in those final health care hours, the trust to shoot for you and the memories we shared.

I’m excited for my career in 2026. I’m excited to see my friends flourish and I’m stoked to see Los Angeles make a resurgence and be the industry staple it once was. Let’s go 2026!

In no particular order. Love you guys and can’t wait to see you in 2026.

Skating for @sadendya on Lady Hawks!
We used the Rialto Mini with PS Techniks Anamorphics serviced by Otto Nemenz. The lenses were heavy for this setup, but the Rialto Mini made this much more manageable. Excited to see the finished product.

He drilled a bolt through a hockey puck. Handed it to the operator. She rolled her eyes.

Then she said — this is actually pretty great.

Another @delta spot I had the pleasure of skate cam operating on. Beautifully shot by Oscar nominated @addp. Hockey and operating are two of my passions and it’s such a pleasure when they come together like this, especially when it comes to the Olympic Games.

My Mom got me into figure skating when I was 4, not long after I wanted to play hockey. My Mom would have loved for me to have been an Olympic competitor, but this will have to do.

It was such a blast skating with some great athletes. @speedyj @declan_farmer @noah_grove @rashaadj586 #JenLee @shibsibs

What a great experience. Good luck to all the athletes in Milan and thank you Autumn for having me out.
