Hello!!! I am finally done with my latest watercolor piece. I decided to name it “Entre la noche y la aurora”, for me it represents the transition between dark times and hope, danger and beauty, which can coexist . I had so much fun working on it but it came a time that I got a creative block and had to pause it for a while, but here it is all finished! Hope you guys like it! ✨

Feliz viernes!

Happy Autumn Equinox! 🍂 for my favorite season I did this watercolor titled “ Autumn Spirits II”. Inspired by the Great-tailed grackle we see everywhere here in EP. Today also marks the official arrival of Persephone to the Underworld 🌸💀

Hello it’s been a while! I’m so excited to show you my latest Memento mori or Vanitas style watercolor honoring my childhood, I hope I dont get sued 😝. My love for videogames started when I was 7 years old with the nintendo 64, it was an important part of me and then at that short age I was kicking some rears in Killer Instinct , I know , not an appropriate game for a 7 year old but oh well. My favorite game ever “ Earthbound/mother2” is from the SNES console, but for some reason my heart still goes with the Nintendo 64. What is your favorite game ever?

This time I’ve been studying human form and hands and this is the result. It was challenging to water color it, sketching it up was easier for me. I think it ended up a on the gloomy creepy side but its July already and that means spooky season is almost here.
“Sentient” features a botanical sentient nymph that symbolizes our connection to nature, which is the backbone of what we are and how it affects our surroundings , how we live , and what we eat and breathe. Hope you like it!

Today’s my birthday and to celebrate I did this small illustration in watecolor . Doing art helps me cope with mental health , it is my only time that is about me and nothing else, just what I find beautiful and in today’s world I believe beauty is political. Finding beauty everyday and in the details , small moment and corners of the world helps me step outside my worries and my pain. So I don’t care about becoming the l greatest artist out there or having a strong statement to sell myself as an artist, I’m not interested in that. Having freedom to do what I want it’s my greatest gift 🎁.

This acrylic piece is 2 years old already , one of my faves so far. “My dear, stop dreaming” was my first attempt of surrealism and got inspired by the Purple Bearded Iris flower. I have a tendency of daydreaming too much, but felt stuck in a place, just like that Iris…

Another year of art goes by, and I noticed blue was a recurring color in my palette. Certainly 2025 has been awakening after awakening but Im thankful for that. A year full of art, new experiences, learning, making new friends and go out of my comfort zone. #artvsartist2025 #artvsartistchallenge by @dannyrocha_art

Happy Christmas eve eve! More on the process of my last watercolor titled “ Entre la noche y la aurora”. This period of time between night and dawn symbolizes a transition from a period of darkness to the hope of a new day. I choose the digitalis ( foxglove) flower which is striking beautiful but can be fatal if ingested, by humans or animals. So what does this mean to our little fawn? He choses to be cautious but still admires the beauty 💜 maybe he already knows he is in danger.
